Will Matt Moore be a starter again? (1 Viewer)

Wondering if this guy gets a starting gig next year elsewhere. He had all of one good game as a starter and there aren't that many holes in terms of teams that will be looking to add starters next year.

Only places that are likely to be looking are Minnesota, Oakland, and maybe Buffalo, and I don't really see him as an upgrade over any of the players currently on those teams.

Safe drop in 2QB dynasty leagues?

I dont see Moore as starter material in the NFL

Curious if this thread would be more discussion after the latest preseason game.

I thought Matt Moore was going to be the latest no name QB that come out to be a decent starter. I will admit I have not seen him play much at all but I remember last year everyone was really hyping this guy, story seems that he got knocked around a lot and became gun shy. any luck on getting him cheap in a dynasty?

I drafted him round 18 in a redraft yesterday (10 team league, start 2 QB) ....... Henne has been bad and IF Moore gets the start he has Reggie/Marhsall/Best to throw balls out.

Can a mod delete the "torn labrum" portion of the thread title please?

Anyway, I think the Miami QB situation will be a total fustercluck all season, with Henne and Moore going back and forth to see who can be worse. I wouldn't draft either QB for fantasy purposes.

Not that Moore will be some sort of superstar but lets wait and see. In Carolina, their OC was an idiot. Davidson couldn't be the OC of a pee wee football team. Zero continuity in the offense. If either RB had a big run they were taken out on the next play. There was no rythym in the offense. When Goodson came in (before the Delo and Stewart injuries) everyone knew it was a pass.

I was wrong about Moore last year. I thought he'd be OK. I thought the Panthers would be 7-9/8-8. Missed that one pretty big.

Still, there were things that I saw in the second half of 2009 that made me think he could be a reasonable NFL starter. I don't think he has any fantasy value but I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up with a decent journeyman type career.

I could absolutely see a scenario where Henne has lost all confidence and Moore comes in and gives Miami adequete QB play.

Best plays for Detroit.
He meant Bess not Best. It was a typo. We knew what he meant.

Got him in round 7 of a 2qb dynasty but had trade up to be sure. The trainwreck that henne is almost assures he starts from week 4 on.
