Will Shaun Alexander finally wake up? (1 Viewer)

My vote is for no - he doesn't seem as hungry now that he has a contract and w/o Hutch he is in trouble.

(I wish I took LT w/ #1)

The announcers said something about his ankle bleeding internally or something. Maybe it was just a gruesome way to say bone bruise.

He's legitimately hurt, you could see that after every carry. Be nice if they sat him next week and gave him 3 full weeks to heal.

:goodposting: I own Alexander, but I would be more than happy to live without him next week and the bye if it meant he would be 100% when he steps back out. At least then I wouldn't be forced to start him week after week only to be mildly disappointed.

I watched the game today and SA looked slow. He hesitated at the line and didn't look like himself.

I agree... Rest him next week so he can heal.

hawks used heaps of 4 wr sets, so u wouldve thought that would spread them out, but salex is dinged.

im a SA owner, and im beginning to wonder if hell even get something like 1500 and 15. i sure hope so, but holmgren seems to like hass slinging it to 4 good wrs. :(

Holmgren will look for any excuse to throw and an injury to SA is a great one. I'm betting on 1200 and 12 TDs for Alexander.

i am trying to trade him away

#1 pick overall and im going 1-2 now because of this crap ( along with playing against career day players and my players just flunking )

I wish i picked LT but i know if I did, he would be hurt like he was the 2 years I got him

Just imagine if the defense didn't put the ball deep in the Giants territory and give SA one of his token gimme TDs. People would be screaming bloody murder.

If he's hurt he SHOULD not be playing. Morris is a very good running back.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: yeah...today he got to show off that awesome ability that has been bottled up all these years  alexander in a wheelchair is better than "momo" and don't forget it.

As an aside, it's not like Morris was running wild.
Yet people will continue to pimp Morris as a stud-in-waiting that is stuck behind SA.
I don't know if anyone pimps him anymore. Couple years ago......yes. He looked worse than a one legged Alexander.
You'd be surprised how many people still have hopes for him. Every time there's a "best backup RB thread", Morris is often mentioned - all because Holmgren had the audacity to say a few nice things about him a few years ago.

not to be a total **** or anything

but when has alexander ever looked fast or quick when he didnt have a gaping whole on the left side of his offensive line. i dont think he stands a chance at chicago next week.

having said that they chucked it around pretty good today and it will be a good game next sunday night
