McNabb. Fantasy points (in my scoring league) the past 5 years.

2006-1st??

2005-19th

2004-3rd

2003-12th

2002-14th

2001-5th

Can we expect this going forward this year? He has played Houston and New York...not known as defensive savants.

What can we expect? A top 5 fantasy season? Is Stallworth for real? Will Westbrook get hurt? Are there too many unknowns to get a good grasp on his future?

Is he a sell high candidate, not unlike others mentioned (Gore, Coles, etc...)

He's in his prime, he's shown he can do it without TO, he's healthy... I see no reason to sell high - hold high instead.

2002: injured in 11th game, missed rest of season.2005: Injured for most of the season, only started 9 games It is also worth noting that had McNabb not been hurt in 02, he was on pace to be the #1 QB. He was averaging 2.5 more points per game then the next best QB. Clearly McNabb was underrated in 06 and is a stud.

McNabb has always been a monster when healthy. He was a stud before TO, and he'll continue to be a stud after TO.

Excellent points.Does his previous injuries make him more likely to get injured again?

Or, because he has seemed to become less of a runner, and more of a passer, he will continue to be qa dominant fantasy QB?

I think the latter, but am worried about the former.

Hey dawgtrails,McNabb's numbers there are misleading because of injury. If you compared his finishes in your league on a points per game basis, you would see he's typically an excellent fantasy option and it would make your decision a much easier one.J

McNabb is awesome, and I'm a Giant fan so that's hard to admit.
I love McNabb, but I find it incredibly frustrating to watch a guy as good as he is randomly throw passes to the ground 5 yards in front of receivers. It's crazy to watch him do that one play and then throw an absolutely perfect pass the next. All I can say is that at least it's better than overthrowing receivers and getting ball picked off.

I don't have McNabb in any league (wouldn't touch him with a Stretch Pulawski -- NOT my line), but I DID jump all over the Philly D based on their cupcake schedule. In the NFL there are severely tangible benefits from mailing it in the season before...

This is the real McNabb. Forget last year. When he's healthy, he's right up there with Peyton & Palmer (if not better, FF-wise).
