He broke the fibula which is the better bone to break (vs Tibula) and it usually takes 6-12 weeks to heal. Should be fine by training camp, 30+ weeks away.

Hey Ro3384...no reason for the snide remark in response to his question. A lot of people aren't well versed in medical diagnoses and typical healing times; asking the boards thoughts on whether Willie Parker's injury will be a hindrance in 2008 is a legitimate topic.

no snide remarks meant... just very surprised common sense isn't so common. ADP tore a ligament and was back in 3 weeks, and someone's asking if a broken bone will be healed by 2008 kickoff.
