For the year, McGahee was the 53rd ranked scoring RB/WR/TE in my league. Scoring 1 pt./10 yds. rush-rec., 6 pts. TD, 0.5 pt./rec.That puts him behind such powerhouses such as Keyshawn Johnson, Mike Furrey, and Maurice Jones-Drew. And that ranking is based on his full season stats, not his diminished stats since week 4 when I traded for him. He's the 25th ranked RB in my league, and that puts him in Kevan Barlow 2004 territory.Bri said:I think you're overreacting. He was a lock for 10 points in "my league".tandl71 said:My initial reaction to his injury was "Oh, no!". I traded Maroney and Plaxico for him in week 4, and he's been my RB2 since then. However, since then I've won games IN SPITE of him.
Unless you have NO other starting RBs to ride, I don't see how losing McGahee can be a big hit to any team (I'm starting T. Jones or C. Chambers in his place from here on out, 0.5 PPR).
Losing him for 1,2, or 6 weeks may be a blessing in disguise. A. Thomas has scored twice with only 25 touches. Face it--McGahee is a fantasy turd.

MANY other RBs had 3,4,5,6 point games. When you draft "stud RB theory" that 3 or 4 point game can be considerred a loss IMO

Before he got hurt he was about 9 or 10th rusher in the NFL

The guy ran for 112 yards in a half and Jauron barely used him in the second. That's not his fault. That was one of the better halfs of any back this year. Heck 100 in a half would be considerred very good any year.
Talk up the Bills' O-Line woes and McGahee's yardage all you want. My point is, it shouldn't be a struggle to replace a fantasy RB who has been outperformed by fantasy WR #3s.
