Wilson or Pollard (1 Viewer)

Liquid Tension

I know Pollard has been great, but Wilson has been solid of late. Is Pollard for real or is this just a crazy streak?

Also, I noticed S. Phillips was ranked very low this week and he has been a solid LB, what is the reason?

Side note, I think we should discuss the rankings and how they are derived and the thought process. Some things are just out of whack and this isn't just for IDP as the in general defensive players can be as unpredictable as kickers

I like Pollard more than Wilson this week just because the way the 49'ers have been playing lately and I do not see them running that often on Zona which I think limits Wilson's tackles. The thing I look at with Safeties is consistency, and Pollard has been a consistent tackler the past 4 weeks. (12, 8, 10, 11 and has a couple picks, 4 pass defensed and a FR) Phillips has been on a pattern of bad (5pts) good (11) bad (5) good (13), maybe they expect that to continue and it doesn't seem like Dallas has given up a ton of sacks (27 all year) and when he doesn't get sacks he is not that good. You have any other options at LB?

i'd go with Wilson over Pollard...SEA is playing HOU this week and they through the ball a ton at least 30 passes a gm....on the other side SEA won't be as good a matchup for the DB on the HOU side....I think Wilson has more upside this week...

I also picked up S. Phillips LB as he's great for pass rush...

Geroge Wilson of Buffalo? If so, I like Wilson over Polard.
A. Wilson of Arizona. Thanks for the other responses as well, always looking for differing opinions. As for Phillips, he has been very solid and Boley, who is my other option, played well against the Cowboys last week, although they play very different positions. Romo does get sacked.

Boley is my other option who is playing the Eagles. he did well against the Cowboys last week and has played pretty well recently

I hope you listened to me in regards to Pollard or Wilson, Pollard has 5 tackles and a pick-6, unlikely Wilson tops that game and you still have the 4th QTR in Houston.

Wilson has had two pick-6's over the past four games....plus a dfr
It was pretty close, but Pollard beat him by almost 5 points in one of my leagues and 7 points in another. Like I said, hopefully he took my advise and started Pollard.Hopefully you went with Boley as well, since all Phillips had just 4 tackles and as the trend continues, every other game he sucks. Boley had a very good game with 11 tackles and a pass defensed.
