Wilson to Denver! (1 Viewer)

And here I thought this would be a slow news day.

Man - almost every big move so far has helped my 2023 draft picks in Dynasty. With this one, I happen to have the pick from the guy who has Chris Carson and DK Metcalf.

it is now legitimately possible that I’m going to own the first four picks in 2023.

I am very very excited about this. I wanted Russ In Denver, but I will withhold my opinion until we see what the details are.

Interesting. There was some chatter of a Russ to Minnesota possibility but I'm sure it would have cost alot of picks and salary.

Rodgers staying in GB and Russ to Denver. I'm still focused on Cousins and where he goes (or stays).

I would think the bare minimum here is 2022 1st, 2023 1st, 2022 2nd, 2022 3rd (could be the Rams #2 as well) and Drew Lock.

Seattle had been rumored to be after a 3rd WR. Could maybe see KJ Hamler involved too, as he's clearly behind Sutton/Jeudy/Patrick.

How’s Mahomes going to handle being the second best QB in the AFC West now?

:P
I know you are kinda joking, but I think that isn't an unreasonable statement. Wilson's got the best supporting cast of his career right now.

Looks like Shelby Harris is in the deal too according to Schefter

Edit full deal: 2 firsts, 2 2nds, a 5th, Lock, Shelby Harris and someone else. Seattle sends back a 4th and Russ according to Kleiman

Edit again: That player is Noah Fant

Minimum guess, this is for: 2022 1st, 2023 1st, 2022 2nd, 2022 3rd(possibly the #2 they got for Von instead), Drew Lock, KJ Hamler(Seattle has been wanting another WR)

Half joking, yea.
Im so pumped to see what he does with these young receivers. Definitely hoping it rejuvenates his career also after the past couple he had in SEA.

Just traded for D.K. Metcalf last night. I included Javonte Williams in the deal.

Great.

:(

Received Sutton in the deal, though.

Nobody cares, but this sucks and sucks and is great at the same time.
I have actually been negotiating the same deal this morning.  I send Williams and get DK.  I was waiting for him to accept when this news came down.  I feel bad pulling the rug out from under it.  Saved by the Shark Pool!

Feel like Metcalf may be on the move soon too.

I know you’re joking, but honestly Russell Wilson look like a shell looked like a shell of himself last year.

I realize the OL had a lot to do with it, but he also wasn’t getting any burst when he would try to improvise and buy his receivers time.

I would say Mahomes is still ahead of Wilson. it also depends on the type of offense Denver tries to run. I’m fascinated to see it though.

That will be interesting to see… I suspect Seattle might want to keep him.

first, to stay competitive, but also to put butts in the seats and sell jerseys. He is now the single most marketable player.

I also suspect this puts Seattle back in the market to retain Penny, as they probably have no idea how Chris Carson’s neck is going to hold up.

Two 1's

Two 2's

one 5th

three players (I have heard Lock and Shelby harris)

Per Glazer
Assuming the 3rd player is Fant. This feels like about what it should cost.

Shelby Harris is a really good DT. Fant is a decent TE, Lock is an ok backup.

Seattle is priming to contend when the Rams hit the decline of their window.

Fant needs a QB to reach potential, he isnt getting that from Lock or Geno Smith or Malik Willis any time soon, MAYBE from Ken Pickett.

Fant??  You son of a %^*&#*@^#*

Why, why would Seattle feel the need to do that.
Purely to vex you? 😉

seriously though, who is the last tight end that Russell Wilson truly made fantasy relevant? I remember several good ones going to Seattle & FF owners having expectations of glory, only to be disappointed.

this honestly might be the best thing for Fant’s value.
