Winning the SB and how it correlates to FF at each position (1 Viewer)

Was bored and decided to do this.  If it sparks conversation, great.  If not, oh well.  Starting with the most recent, here are each SB winner's top fantasy finisher (PPR) at each of the positions (I only went back to SB5, after the AFL/NFL merger, but it nicely works out to 50 years):

QB - 6, 12, 8, 19, 30, 10, 9, 15, 6, 1, 2, 16, 14, 1, 19, 10, 11, 16, 20, 31, 1, 13, 4, 1, 14, 1, 8, 4, 4, 19, 3, 7, 15, 11, 11, 4, 16, 6, 6, 19, 6, 4, 1, 3, 6, 20, 13, 23, 2, 16
- Average finish was QB10
- 6 QB1 finishes (Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, Steve Young, Roger Staubach)

RB - 37, 7, 35, 9, 25, 20, 5, 4, 19, 24, 19, 29, 21, 13, 18, 8, 29, 25, 9, 5, 1, 1, 2, 19, 1, 6, 1, 1, 6, 16, 10, 2, 17, 2, 4, 9, 6, 26, 37, 21, 7, 13, 3, 17, 4, 9, 10, 8, 4, 41
- Average finish was RB13
- 5 RB1 finishes (Marshall Faulk, Terrell Davis, Emmitt Smith (x3))

WR - 33, 21, 21, 14, 9, 17, 30, 28, 3, 5, 16, 17, 13, 1, 12, 34, 35, 21, 15, 46, 6, 9, 3, 16, 7, 1, 4, 3, 3, 44, 1, 2, 3, 39, 38, 12, 24, 3, 7, 9, 6, 5, 11, 1, 3, 31, 7, 20, 5, 9
- Average finish was WR14
- 4 WR1 finishes (Marvin Harrison, Jerry Rice (x2), Cliff Branch)

TE - 1, 11, 3, 10, 20, 1, 25, 8, 20, 39, 17, 15, 10, 17, 15, 10, 12, 21, 65, 2, 10, 1, 4, 3, 3, 13, 1, 13, 9, 3, 17, 33, 2, 23, 15, 1, 18, 14, 16, 11, 18, 13, 1, 26, 25, 13, 20, 16, 12
- Average finish was TE14
- 7 TE1 finishes (Travis Kelce, Rob Gronkowski, Shannon Sharpe (x2), Jay Novacek, Todd Christensen, Dave Casper)

K - 1, 5, 14, 9, 10, 1, 4, 8, 24, 11, 21, 17, 19, 12, 7, 1, 10, 4, 9, 1, 5, 6, 4, 11, 4, 11, 6, 4, 1, 22, 1, 2, 21, 7, 1, 1, 8, 2, 18, 7, 4, 11, 2, 18, 4, 2, 3, 4, 14, 11
- Average finish was K8
- 8 K1 finishes (Harrison Butker, Stephen Gostkowski, Adam Vinatieri, Matt Stover, Chip Lohmiller, Mike Cofer, Kevin Butler, Ray Wersching)

A few things that stood out to me are:
- All 5 of the RB1 finishes came in an 8-year period
- I am a bit surprised the average QB finish was that low.  I figured it would be around QB6-8
- Didn't expect the RB, WR, and TE positions to be that close

Thoughts?

Not a lot of surprises. You need better than average fantasy performers, particularly at QB, to win Superbowls?
