It looks like I can afford to trade away JP Arencibia at catcher (486 PA)and one of my OFers (maybe Pagan?).

What I need is a 1B so I can avoid having to use Raul Ibanez's .289 OBP there. We could mix and match some to make it work. Holla!

My biggest needs are shortstops who can actually hit, and better SPs. I'll gladly package Correia or Floyd or Hammel for an upgraded SP.

My biggest assets are excess 1Bs, though I might play one of them in RF instead of Soriano. And I have lots of extra ABs at OF as well as a ton of extra innings. I could probably also part with a good setup man.

Starting lineup:

CF Fowler 563pa 266/363/432

2B Zobrist 674pa 269/353/469

3B Bautista 655pa 302/447/608

WIS has 2011 uploaded at the site. I felt better about my team before I saw the + numbers. I doubt giving up a lot of hits while not getting very many will be a good formula for success.

Catcher:

Ruiz: 472 .283/.371/.383 A/A+/D

Ellis: 103 .271/.392/.376 A+/A/C-

Olivo: 507 .224/.253/.388 C+/A+/C

1082 PAs. Would definetly be interested in moving Olivo. I have plenty of holes so would listen to all offers.

First:

Giambi: 152 .260/.355/.603 B+/B-

Thome: 324 .256/.361/.477 D-/D-

Ka'aihue: 96 .195/.295/.317 C/A+

476 usable PAs. Will have to use a crappy OF to fill in the PAs at 1st.

Second:

Hudson: 454 .246/.329/.352 A/A-

Carroll: 510 .290/.359/.347 B-/D-

964 PAs. Probably starting Hudson at 3rd given how crappy I drafted at that position.

Third:

Frazier: 121 .232/.289/.438 A-/C-

Baker: 212 .269/.302/.383 C/D

Mora: 135 .228/.244/.276 B+/A- (Graet D #s)

Stewart: 136 .156/.243/.221 D/D-

333 PAs, and will probably carry Mora as a defensive replacement.

Short:

Rollins: 631 .268/.338/.399 A+/C+

631 PAs. Hopefully he won't pull a hammy in the sim.

Out Field:

Hart: 551 .285/.356/.510 A/C (only bright spot)

Werth: 649 .232/.330/.389 C/B+

Torres: 398 .221/.312/.330 B/C-

Fuld: 346 .240/.313/.360 B/B+

Gwynn: 340 .256/308/.353 A/D-

Francisco: 293 .244/.340/.364 C-/D-

Michaels: 169 .199/.256/.295 A+/D-

2577 PA (usable is used loosly)

Starters(IP/OAV/WHIP):

Lincecum: 217 0.222 1.21

Lester: 192 0.234 1.26

Gee: 161 0.248 1.38

Lowe: 187 0.285 1.51

Duensing: 162 0.299 1.52

Long Relief/Spot Start:

Hughes: 75 0.283 1.49

Ross: 36 0.252 1.28

Rest of the Pen:

Uehara: 65 0.164 0.72

Peralta: 68 0.188 0.92

Bailey: 42 0.218 1.1

Fuentes: 58 0.237 1.23

Blevins: 28 0.235 1.34

Buchholz: 26 0.234 1.12

Reynolds: 51 0.255 1.3

Runzler: 27 0.282 1.65

1395 Innings, it is going to be tight.

Still have Quality ABs I can move in the OF, although I'm leaning more towards keeping them for PH purposes. Still, open to offers that could improve my 4/5 starters or Pen.

CATCHER

Buster Posey…185 PA… 284/368/389…45 SP…A-/A+/A

Koye Hill…153…194/268/276…45 SP…C/A+/D

Eli Whiteside…236…197/264/310…46 SP…B/A/D+

Posey injury hurt bad. The catchers will hit in the 9th hole due to PA concerns and Posey will give me another base runner for the top of the lineup to knock in.

FIRST BASE

Todd Helton…491…302/385/466…52 SP…A/C+

Ike Davis…149 PA…302/383/543…53 SP…A/C-

Davis injury erased a great trade asset. Very good defense all year. Helton will lead off when he plays while Davis might slide down deeper in the order. Craig can fill in if needed.

SECOND BASE

Darwin Barney…571…276/313/353…69 SP…B-/C-

Will Rhymes…99…235/323/271…62 SP…C/D-

Barney was about what I expected. Nice pickup for the later part of the draft. Rhymes won't be on the roster so he is ultra available if anyone actually wants him. Tolbert will fill in the PAs.

THIRD BASE

Scott Rolen…269…242/279/397…59 SP…A/B

Juan Francisco…97…258/289/452…62 SP…B/D

Can't complain about Rolen getting hurt. He will share the position with Uribe while Francisco could see some spot duty.

SHORT STOP

Starlin Castro…715…307/341/432…79 SP…C/B+

His fielding could have graded worse. A solid hitter that will probably hit behind Ellsbury wherever he is in the lineup.

OUTFIELD

Jacoby Ellsbury…732…321/376/552…93 SP…A+/A

Andrew McCutchen…678…259/364/456…89 SP…B-/A

Torii Hunter…649…262/336/429…66 SP…B+/C+

Mike Trout…135…220/281/390…82 SP…C/B+

Ellsbury is my best hitter for any spot in the lineup. Should be hitting cleanup with the contact middle infield hitters behind to utilize his speed to the fullest. McCutchen will hit 2nd most of the season. Trout could be useful as a pinch runner. Craig will see spot starts in the corners.

UTILITY

Allen Craig…219…315/362/555…72 SP…A+/D- 1B…D-/D- 2B…D/D- 3B…A+/D- OF

Juan Uribe…295…204/264/293…59 SP…A+/D- 2B…A/D+ 3B…D/D- SS

Matt Tolbert…226…198/252/266…72 SP… C+/D- 2B…C/D- 3B…B/D- SS

Too bad Craig couldn't play enough to get a decent grade at 2B. Too bad the other two couldn't hit.

STARTING PITCHERS

John Lannan…184.2 IP…3.70 ERA/4.28 FIP

Jeff Francis…183.0…4.82/4.10

Bruce Chen…155.0…3.77/4.39

Joel Pineiro…145.2…5.13/4.43

Randy Wells…135.2…4.99/5.11

Three #3 starters at best and two #5 starters at best. Will have to really watch the innings per start to stretch them out all season.

MIDDLE/LONG RELIEF

Rodrigo Lopez…97.2…4.42/5.36

John Grabow…62.1…4.76/5.08

Kevin Slowey…59.1…6.67/4.47

Casey Coleman…84.1…6.40/4.57

Michael Wuertz…33.2…6.68/5.46

Ross Ohlendorf...38.6...8.15/6.28

Barely serviceable to plain ugly. Bridging any leads to the big boys in the pen will be a challenge.

SETUP/CLOSERS

Mike Adams…73.2…1.47/2.47

Sean Marshall…75.2…2.26/1.86

Luke Gregerson…55.2…2.75/3.40

Darren Oliver…51.0…2.29/2.77

But if I can get a lead into the 7th inning... Nice left/right balance as well. I could stretch them into the 6th inning if needed some games.

TRADE POSSIBILITIES

Not a lot of wiggle room. As stated prior, if anyone wants Francisco or Rhymes for any innings, they are yours. The only other piece I will be willing to move is Craig for quality innings to really stretch out the bullpen or improve my starting staff.

trade options for oso...

1. Can give Holliday (128 OPS+), Beltran (128), or Seth Smith (117) for an OF with B+ or better range.

2. Can give a SP/P like Kyle McClellan (142 IP, 103 ERC+), Wade LeBlanc (80/103), Carlos Carrasco (125/107), or Travis Wood (106/90) for an infielder, preferably one that can play SS/3B. Though could also take a 1B and play some guys out of position.

I am close on a couple of deals, but is anyone interested in carl crawford or jason heyward for a RH equivalent?

also, perhaps ryan dempster or ja happ gets me 2b or 3b PAs. looking to move jose arredondo and if i trade for logan ondrusek i would deal him as well.

What would you need from me for Dempster and Crawford? Tried sending you a PM but it wouldn't go through.

You're still short on SP innings even if you use all of Kyle Drabek's craptastic numbers

Miguel Tejada's 343 PA/162 of A+/A+ 3B defense (and OPS of 68) is available. I'm looking for about 150 PAs worth of mediocre OF help.

DEAL HAS BEEN MADE....

Rodg12 gets Carl Crawford and Ryan Dempster

ChemX gets Edwin Encarnacion and Drew Storen

Another deal to announce:

Chemical X receives Robert Andino and Logan Ondrusek

Scoobus receives David Hernandez

So, my goal was to go 14 hitters and 11 pitchers with a 5 man rotation, but thanks to kraft drafting me mostly unusable players, me missing the last 4 rounds of picks and some awful luck, i got stuck with no depth.

i drafted for offense, thinking i could find pitching late, well, i found the pitching, but didn't count on pedro alvarez, carl crawford and jason heyward being much less than advertised. my gamble on jose lopez at 2b didn't work and bobby scales never got called up by the cubs, obviously because he has strong OBP skills, not necessary to their plans. luckily i had 4 pichers go over 200 innings and michael pineda at 171. kraft did find me a useful eric thames and jerry sands.

so, i have decided to use a 4 man staff and go with 8 RP after dealing ryan dempster's innings. i packaged dempster and an awful crawford for an awful edwin encarnacion, but useful drew storen. edwin will play d-/d- 3b and get replaced by omar vizquel for defence. storen allowed me to move a useful david hernandez for robert andino and logan ondrusek. andino is the 2b and ondrusek is functional BP innings.

all said, he is the 25 i bring to the dance:

vs. RHP vs. LHP

brantley andino

andino conor jackson

fielder fielder

peralta peralta

e thames encarnacion

heyward sands

encarnacion paulino

thole brantley

P P

Pineda

Masterson

Gio Gonzalez

Brett Myers

Happ as a long/mop

Arredondo & Ondrusek as 5-7 innings guys

Sean Burnett as a LOOGY

Storen, Clippard, Motte, Bastardo as my Core Four

i might try thole in the 2 hole, but need to make sure he has enough PAs. might also spot a RH of for brantley now and then. bench IF will be jose lopez and omar vizquel.
