WIS V All-Time Baseball Draft: HARRRRRRRIFIC (3 Viewers)

Reminder: For those of you who neglected to draft great pitching, Kevin Brown and Don Sutton are available for good bats.

Aren't Even Near the Bottom
That's the highest Harrrrr has ever ranked me :pickle:
Plenty of time to blow it.
this is true. more picks like '66 koufax, and you'll be falling like larry in an obstacle course
Is he really THAT bad
only one SP picked so far is worse (tom seaver)no, that's not true. there were one or two that weren't even on the list, but i can't remember who they were.

amos rusie, that was one of them

Scott > Smutton
 more HR + more BB = more runs allowed

Sutton is a beast in this sim.

looks pretty good to me. i'd want to have more arms by this point in the draft, but those are all solid picks

I'll trade you my next pick for Sutton :coffee:

sutton should be top 10 in league era.

:lmao:
you don't think he will?
era is bogus. If he gives up unearned runs it's still going to hurt your team.

You have at a minimum 2 Pedro, 2 Maddux, a W. Johnson, and 2 Koufax seasons that are way better. That's 7 and I'm not even to the deadball era guys. I guess he could slide in somewhere below that, but I'd be surprised unless you have a severe pitchers park.

Spectacular pick. Way better than that Tudor clown.
why the hate?
No hate. I just  that Clemens K-Rate.
clown?
:lmao: Maybe he meant 'clown' in a nice way?
 I always thought clowns were nice
I forgot. Pickles is afraid of clowns.
Send in the Clones!!!!

7 players = $94million payroll.

Move over Brian Cashman
This could very well be an issue. I thought $255 million was the absolute max salary cap?
pretty sure it is. we might have to ask wis for an exception
Holy crap, uh, you might want to find this out or we'll have to re-draft or I'll quit.

2 Koufax seasons that are way better
65 and 63 down? and I could easily make an argument his 64 season is also better than Suttons 72.
63 won't sim better than sutton.and 64 is worse than most pitchers picked thus far.
63 is basically the same across the board except Koufax strikes more people out (which matters). 64 is basically the same statistical makeup as Suttons with a few more HRs, but more Ks.

I really don't see why you don't like those 2 years.

I'm pretty confident that about 95% of the pitchers are going to suck in this SIM. The lineups are just too good.

i like 63 a lot. i have it two slots below sutton's 72.

:hot: There is nothing worse than sitting in a thread for an hour WHILE YOU ARE ON THE CLOCK and then posting you have a pick coming. That is not shtick, that is signing your death warrant, rookie. :hot:

i'm happy to have drafted 4 pitchers from that 5%

How confident can you be of that? Isn't there a (dean) chance they might flop?
