Thanks. I am going to hold onto Petro - he would command a true front line starter with full innings at this point, and I dont want to mess with what has been working so well. If you reconsider the trade for Appling, or see a tweak to it that would make it worth giving up the limited inning Pedro, let me know.
A couple weeks ago I was really hurting in the pen... would still like to add an arm but not under any rush at this point.

I am not looking for a 250+ IP starter though. Petro is a SS hitting .327/.389/.532 - 4th in Avg, 5th in OBP and 2nd in SLG for SS's in the SIM.gllllllllll wit dat
Dont think I was overvaluing him. I am not talking about a stud #1 pitcher, but would be worth someone drafted at least as high as he was is all.Which is why I am looking to deal Appling for a lower inning but good raw # starter, or a good reliever (which is most likely)

SoCal - Got your second offer. To trade Petro I would need a really good deal - my team is not big on power and although Appling (in theory at least) should be a better OBP guy, Petro better suits my needs now.
Maybe there is another angle we can look at, or table the trade for a bit.

Have a coouple of ideas for this, especially for defenses...First, I would include sacks this year...Second, the ont thing I wasn't a huge fan of last year was the constant adding and dropping of defenses to always make sure you got a team playing St. Mary's School For The Blind...Seemed like after all the work and effort in research and drafting, cherry picking defenses every week diluted the "skill" a little...I would suggest either: A. Limiting the # of defenses you can roster in the season (let's say 6 max)...or B. Making the smallest FA bid on a defense $10, so people would have to think a bit more before adding/dropping them at willl....Thoughts?Yeah, I guess I have no choice at this point. I'm cool with doing most all of the scoring once again, it was really sorta fun to enter all of the stats. But I really would like a little help with some of the duties if you guys don't mind. It could get a little overwhelming at times. I was hoping that maybe a couple of guys could step up and handle the weekly waiver wire/ FCFS process. It isn't all that hard, but it would be a huge help to have that part done.

Never been to Amsterdam. But still can't drink Heineken here. Mmmmm, space cakes.indeed, Amsterdam is almost too fun. After going to the Heineken brewery, I can't even drink the stuff here.The Wife leaves tomorrow for Amsterdam. 8 days. Part work, part hanging out with her sister who's tagging along. I get to stay home with the kids & dogs.
