WIS V All-Time Baseball Draft: HARRRRRRRIFIC (1 Viewer)

I'm cool with doing most all of the scoring once again, it was really sorta fun to enter all of the stats. But I really would like a little help with some of the duties if you guys don't mind. It could get a little overwhelming at times. I was hoping that maybe a couple of guys could step up and handle the weekly waiver wire/ FCFS process. It isn't all that hard, but it would be a huge help to have that part done.
I'd help but can I do it at work? What I mean is will it take too long?
The majority of the work with the waiver wire is ciphering through all of the PMs and getting the bids in order. Once that is done... you just list the winners and do the "Add/Drops" on GoalLine. Probably takes about 30-45 mins for the Waiver Wire, and 15-20 mins for the FCFS the next day.

Um...why don't you just do the draft in this thread...it's not like anyone checks in anyways

EDIT:I'll team up with someone if need be, but will be out of the country from July20-August 6
Where ya' goin?
Croatia
The Wife leaves tomorrow for Amsterdam. 8 days. Part work, part hanging out with her sister who's tagging along. I get to stay home with the kids & dogs. :own3d:
indeed, Amsterdam is almost too fun. After going to the Heineken brewery, I can't even drink the stuff here.
Never been to Amsterdam. But still can't drink Heineken here. Mmmmm, space cakes.
Drinking Heineken here is like drinking skunk piss. I don't recommend either.

Pretty much exactly what I do for my AL only league so assuming I can get to the site from here I'll help out.

Good man.

Btw, drafting the NCAA league in this thread is a brilliant idea.
I do have editing powers for the first post. It would fit in nicely under the 25 rounds of WIS baseball players.

How does Monday, July 24th sound? Seems kinda dumb to start on a Friday, and Kraft won't be back until the 20th.

Early August is our fiscal year end so I may not be in the thread a ton during the day but I'll damn sure be available for my picks. Wouldn't mind starting earlier than the 21st too but maybe that's not realistic. My goal is to finish by August 19th because I'll be gone for 9 days.

I agree on starting earlier, but many guys complained that we drafted too early last season.

Yeah, forgot about that. We'll just have to jam once we start.

1000 here we come!!!
You and Harrr going to dominate again this season?:JamarioThomas:
Well, twice I have been the Jr. Co-Owner, and both times my "partner" bailed on me either near the beginning or at the beginning of the season (yeah, im talking to you too, pump). Gonna stay way clear of this one.

Issues to address:

DEF/ST Add/Drops (limit them?)

December 2nd Games (do we count them?)

WW/FCFS Deadlines (what works for the league and for Funk)

Limited Player Pool (Cappy requested this at BBT)

Time Limit (should we have one? we didn't last year)

More to come I'm sure....

Issues to address:

DEF/ST Add/Drops (limit them?)Yes. Only enough moves to cover bye weeks.

December 2nd Games (do we count them?) No

WW/FCFS Deadlines (what works for the league and for Funk) I process our baseball transactions on Friday mornings so I'd like to avoid that day.

Limited Player Pool (Cappy requested this at BBT) No limit as I like the extra talent available.

Time Limit (should we have one? we didn't last year) 4 hours right from the start. 2 if we aren't moving fast enough.

More to come I'm sure....

Issues to address:

DEF/ST Add/Drops (limit them?) - TU suggestions look good to me

December 2nd Games  (do we count them?) -  yes

WW/FCFS Deadlines (what works for the league and for Funk) - I'm flexable

Limited Player Pool (Cappy requested this at BBT) - I'm flexable

Time Limit (should we have one?  we didn't last year) - yes , start at 2 hours first few rounds should't require as much thought

More to come I'm sure....
Sacks = 2 points :coffee:

FWIW, I agree with all of these. The WW is usually done on Wednesday and the FCFS on Thursday, so if that isn't a problem they could stay the same.Anyone oppose any of these views?

Btw- My FIL golfs with his pals every Monday morning. The 4 some includes only former pro's so even in their early 70's DON'T challenge these guys too a $$$ game. Anyway, FIL gets home and is wearing his golf shirt (Polo) collar up. Looked just as ####ed up on him as it does on everyone else.
