with a lot of backs coming out this year, there is going to be more quality backup runners than ever in my mind. should starting lineups reflect this by removing a starting rb and replacing it with maybe a flex?

opinions?

I say no, especially in dynasty leagues. Draft accordingly to what you think is the next big thing in the NFL.

Most of my leagues use more flex options than required. For example, my favorite set-up is 1-3 RB, 2-5 WR, 1-3 TE, 4 flex. TEs get more PPR, so they're actualy worth owning.

LOL...Are you in my league??? I am in a start 8 (not incl. QB, Def and K) and we are start 2-4 RB, 3-5 WR and 1-2 TE. It is my favorite league because your season is not sunk if you happen to lose 1-2 players at a certain position. TEs actually get a full point per reception versus 1/2 point for WRs, so I am going to try to grab Cooley and Winslow in our next draft & start them both.
