I hate being one of those people saying "What kind of league to you play in?" but seriously - E. Manning is sixth in yards and 3rd in TDs. If he's available then you have no issues.
I like Garrard of the people on my wire available for next week. Anyone playing Houston is worth a shot.
Josh Freeman has several nice games coming up - Carolina, Washington, Detroit, Seattle.

8 team league with teams only allowed to hold 2 QBs at a time.Eli's got a pretty decent schedule with Dal, Phi, Jac, Was, Min, Phi, GBGarrard is almost as juicy with Hou, Cle, NYG, Ten, Oak, IndI'm leaning towards Eli as well, especially considering I have Nicks.

Shaun Hill healthy? If so he makes a good pickup, but obv not better than eli

Lions backup QB Shaun Hill (fractured forearm) wasn't healthy enough to take snaps from center or make handoffs this week.
"That we haven't tried yet. I can take shotgun snaps," said Hill, who indicated that he could hand off with his right hand if necessary. Hill is optimistic that the injury will have healed to the point where he can play next week, but it's not a certainty. The Lions have a nice fantasy matchup at Buffalo, so Hill will be a hot waiver addition if it looks like he'll get the nod over Drew Stanton.

I hope he is ready, I really do. I have Calvin Johnson in a number of leagues and Stanton blows. Calvin Johnson could have a big week against Buffalo, even with a banged up Hill. At least Hill learned to throw the freaken ball up to Calvin.To me, it's Burleson's stock that drops with Hill as the QB because Burleson needs Stafford's pin point accuracy and arm strength, Hill just has to throw up the jump ball to Calvin. Pretty bummed I picked up Stafford three weeks ago just to use him week 10, has great games weeks 8 and 9 and then gets hurt. Look's like I'm rolling with Garrard or Cassel this week. I'm 11th in waiver priority, so if I don't get Garrard I'm thinking about just starting Rodgers anyways, at least then my lineup won't look bad!

One guy who may be out there is Vince Young. He's getting Moss (love him or hate him he's talented) and he's playing Houston twice, Jax, Miami, Indy, and KC between now and Week 16 (Indy again if you go to Week 17).

In a dynasty I'm making my play for Vince Young I think. I his game dovetails nicely with Moss. Plus the added threat of Moss is going to open up some long rushing lanes for him. Pick your poison in that offense.

OK Stafford appears done which in turn raises the value of this thread to the Shark pool. I may try to form a 3 QB rotation with Fitzpatrick, Favre and Shaun Hill or if either Favre or Hill get snatched before I get them add in Troy Smith his schedule looks great down the stretch and he may just keep the starting gig from here out.

I'm trying to get VY who is the third QB on an oppoenent's team, but he's a Texas alum, a potential playoff competitor, and one of those guys who thinks his 3rd string QB is worth my RB2. So I'm really at a loss here. No clue what I'm going to do.
Any thoughts on Troy Smith? Kitna's an option, lots of weapons, but that team has quit.

I'd go Henne from that group. He's a cut above the usual WW fodder, at least in my opinion.

I Actually ended up trading for Flacco (Colston my WR3). Fair warning - if anyone has Flacco, trade him before he gets hurt.
Good call. Two games against Houston, one against Washington, one against Jax. Sweet.
I'm in the exact same position. When Rice comes back, this is a pretty dangerous offense. Could be some good matchups down the stretch.

I ended up picking up both of them. I was going to hold onto Stafford, but with the news coming out about the shoulder last night, I cut him. I have absolutely no clue which of the 3 I'm starting this week though.Briman said:

I just wish we had definitive word on the shoulder but have heard enough to think he won't be back.
Could drop Kitna but want to see if the offense improves at all with the coaching change first.

I too lost Stafford and Romo this year, the third QB I had drafted was Garrard who I've since dropped. I'm out of WW money so I'm stuck with Henne who I traded with. Looking to trade for Cutler or McNabb right now for cheap, anyone rolling with either of those guys going forward?LC512 said:

How high would you guys rank his replacement Pennington? say compared to Favre or Hill? I am debating grabbing him but after losing Romo and then Stafford I am weary of another injury prone QB.
Hmm, well someone took Young before I could get him. Now trying to decide who to grab between Hill, Favre, and keeping Kitna. I'm leaning toward Kitna because week 15 and 16 for playoffs and I have Romo on IR. Hill has the best track record this year, Favre has upside if Rice gets back and should do well in weeks 12 and 13 against the skins and bills. I'm not sure that Kitna is as bad as he's looked. I keep thinking that given enough games, by playoffs he'll be in top condition like Matt Cassel did in NE. Then again, he might not last that long.
Oh and I don't think Pennington is the answer. He'll probably do worse than Henne did this year. IIRC, in the past he has always been a waiver wire QB that you might pick up on a bye week for a matchup play. Miami's offense just isn't that good this year.
