If you are drafting today (this week) in a redraft, where does Lord Favre place in your QB rankings?

Hard to say if this will actually happen and what team he will land with, but I would take a flyer on him as my QB2

I would not have him as my starter because you don't know the Brett Favre you will get. Will he be the Holmgren/McCarthey Favre or the Mike Sherman Favre?

There are so many variables to this equation right now that he is difficult to slot in before any of the starters likely to put up good fantasy numbers. To me, looking at my rankings, there are 21 quarterbacks I would certainly take before Favre (not knowing where or if he'll show up). I have Leinart 21st at the QB position and I can't see taking Favre before any of them at this point. However I can certainly see taking a chance on Favre after Leinart is off the board and prior to the...

Really? What round are you willing to draft him in? I wouldn't consider him before the twelfth, unless he goes to Minny, then maybe the 10th.

This is off the top of my head as I would have to analyze the Vikings situation and how much more passing they would do with Favre at the helm. I could consider him after Palmer and as high as 7th as the current 7th spot on have some question marks and/or limited upside. Favre could put up monster numbers with the Vikings (which is why he won't be released IMO). No way do the Packers let him go to a division rival, especially the Vikings who with a strong quarterback are strong Super Bowl contenders.
