With the season less than a week away (1 Viewer)

I don't know what the split will be for Greene and LT but, TCody probably will not play in this game because of recent knee surgery. He's expected to be back for the Ravens week 2 match up against the Bengals. Once Cody and Ngata start playing next to each other, you need to seriously start looking at RB match ups against the Ravens. Baltimore still does a decent job against the run, they may give up more in week 1 w/out Mt. Cody in the rotation.

1. Chris Johnson 2. Maurice Jones-Drew 3. Frank Gore4. Adrian Peterson5. Jamal Charles6. Arian Foster7. Matt Forte8. Amhad Bradshaw9. Deangelo Williams10. Steven Jackson11. Ryan Mathews12. Felix Jones13. Jahvid Best14. Cedric Benson15. Ronnie Brown16. Michael Turner17. CJ Spiller18. Joseph Addai19. Ryan Grant20. Beanie Wells21. Ray Rice22. Pierre Thomas23. Jonathan Stewart24. Kareem Huggins25. Jerome Harrison26. Shonn Greene27. Lesean Mccoy28. Rashard Mendenhall29. Darren Mcfadden30. Marion Barber
Huggins is not even guaranteed to Dress week 1. Otherwise, looks typical of a list for a given week. If Ray Rice finishes 21st Ill eat a head of lettuce.
The Ray Rice call looks low to me too. Tell you what, if he scores that low I'll take a bite out of the migrant worker who picked that head of lettuce.
I am calling Ray Rice at #1. Remember that RR pounded the vaunted Minn. run D for about 40 points in ppr. Also, keep in mind that Jets D is littered with injuries right now, plus at this point even if Revis comes in today, he will need at least two weeks to get ready. This is not the same D as last year, couple that with the fact that Rice will be even better and I think we are looking at 25 points minimum in ppr.

Green gets the sit for me this week not knowing how they plan to use LT. I'll ride the best/spiller train instead

A couple stand out as too highs for me:Charles - is he the for sure starter yet? Haley can be a D-bag.
People are still saying this sort of stuff? Jesus. He'll get carries. It doesn't really matter whether he starts. He started against them last year but didn't get a whole lot of work. No big deal. He still sliced them up with ease. Charles in W12 @SD last year: 17 touches, 147 yards, TD. When are people going to figure it out -- the guy isn't Eddie George. He doesn't need 30 carries to win you a fantasy game. He can do it on 20 touches, 15 touches - heck, the guy can give you 100 yards and a score on 10 carries more regularly than 95+% of the other backs in the league. Start him with confidence. In Primetime -- KC's first in a while -- he'll put on a show. SD won't stop him. Only Haley can do that, and he's not going to. He wants to win. Whether they're down by 10 in the 2nd or up by 7 in the 3rd, the best player on the team is the guy who'll be getting the rock.
I've got Charles, Foster and Best but only can start one. Killing me here but your making a strong case for Charles.

Being forced to pick between Wells and Hightower for one league. You've got Wells at 20, but I don't think I can pull the trigger and start him. it looks like hightower's job currently.

I think Jackson's gotta be higher playing with a rookie---in addition to his normal workload I could see a higher amount of catches than in recent seasons.I would put Hillis in my top 30, at #30, for this week. I think he's worthy of a flex start with upside. Can we spell guys' names correctly? Jamaal Charles. Ahmad Bradhsaw. Just little stuff.
Jamaal Charles was a typing error, Not sure what you are talking about with Bradshaw.I think Harrison deserves a bump, but Hillis wont be making it into the top 30.

guys forte blows.
No he doesnt. He wont be going to the HOF or anything, but he is a solid FF back, and has a great matchup at home against Detroit. He may not rush for 100 yards, but he will catch for close to 50, and has a good shot at a TD.

Im with you 100% here. Until i see otherwise, Charles is a guy who was scoring as a top 3 RB last we saw regular season football.

let me guess. you own ray rice? Because anyone sane wouldn't be calling their match up against t #1he D to be a cakewalk.

no he really isnt solid at all. he'll be a backup after he busts again this year.
Even if he does end up as a backup after this season, he will still have at least a couple big games this year. I think this will be one of them. 22 carries, 89 yards, 1 TD, 5 rec, 39 yards...go ahead and mark that down.

Well, how did it taste?

 Close enough. 11/98/TD. Calling it now: 15 carries, 130 yards, 1 TD against Cleveland. The heavens won't open in Ohio. God help NFL defenses if they ever give him 20+.

Ive seen him play alot too, and like i said, he isnt the most talented back in the league, but he is solid RB that will put up good numbers. After week 1 he has done nothing to make me feel any different.I dont think you will change your stance, even if he finishes as a top 5 RB. So far though, you couldnt be more wrong.
