I wouldn't even describe this as a movement at all.  A bunch of people got pissed because they lost (mostly women and castrated men) and protested.  That's all this was.  Nothing will come of this other than "look at those cry-babies over".

Maybe not, but what you are describing is exactly how the Tea Party formed.  Bunch of "cry babies" who protested, rallied, called the other guy names, and then started winning elections.

Maybe it's a matter of expression ... I would say that several of my friends, who traveled from Columbus OH to D.C. to march was a result from outrage.

They took a day off of work Friday, drove 6 hours, woke up early the next day and dealt with an overcrowded metro, ate only a breakfast bar and one bottle of water from morning until 6 pm, dealt with crowds so large that it was almost impossible to move, and drove home Sunday only to have to be back at work on Monday. Seems like a lot of women (and men) did this and it's not because they are just a little sad.

I apologize if I'm not getting your point but ultimately I don't think I disagree w you.  There is plenty of outrage, whether it's long-lasting and will affect Trump kind of depends on Trump now.

Another way of looking at it is they want to make sure they don't lose the rights they have. 

The thing is women make up half the population, the more of those people on your side the better shot you have at winning subsequent elections.  There were a lot of teenage and post teenage girls at these rallies, those people are going to vote next time.

So, the Tea Party had this type of protest? More people attended the women's march in one day, than all of the tea party rallies.

Ironically these marches had more passion x100 than any Hillary event. Mostly it was known by her voters (she didn't have "supporters" per se, just people begrudgingly voting for her over Trump), she stunk to high heaven, that's how Barack beat her in the first place in 2008. No one liked her back then either. She was a war mongering quasi Republican and that was before emails and Benghazi. It's a high price to pay though, the "therefore, President Trump" is a tough and somewhat spiteful consequence it seems.
