Ok for kids?Saw it last night. It's a solid A and ranks up with the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie as my recent favorite superhero movies. Gal Gadot just nails the performance.

The episode I caught was some super alien being was on some council that had decided earth was too violent to go on and was slated to be destroyed. One of the members of the council comes to earth (pretty sure he played the commander or president or whatever on Buck Rogers) to prove that we are not violent. Then out of the blue, there are all these are all these Nazis. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on.Yeah. The cost to do a period show was crazy so when CBS bought it, they made some serious changes. I loved IRA, the super wise cracking supercomputer. For me the 2nd season where Diana is going to all these different places, but they all look like LA is hilarious. Detroit has palm trees?![]()

Jokes aside... There is some brief full frontal nudity with only a hand covering the groin. And also a naked ### shot.Is there nudity
Other than the above, I don't recall much that would be too kid unfriendly. No gore beyond seeing bandaged soldiers, one missing a hand, etc. A little light sexual innuendo humor.Ok for kids?

I'd say so. World War 1 wasn't a pretty war and there's some wounded soldiers, but the gore is pretty low.Ok for kids?
Forgot to mention, it is Chris Pine...Jokes aside... There is some brief full frontal nudity with only a hand covering the groin. And also a naked ### shot.![]()
so, no mustard gas blisters, correct?I'd say so. World War 1 wasn't a pretty war and there's some wounded soldiers, but the gore is pretty low.

must have huge hands, or a wee Richard ...Forgot to mention, it is Chris Pine...
Some people get gassed but they cut away, don't show much but panic. Test of a guy in a mask but mask stays intact.. cut away to finish him off when mask pulled offso, no mustard gas blisters, correct?
There is the woman who spends most of the movie with a mask-thing glued to her face that you see at one point without the mask on. Surprise, she's missing that part of her face. Some people get gassed but they cut away, don't show much but panic. He just got out of a magic bath. I'm guessing it was cold....must have huge hands, or a wee Richard ...

Was just about to add that. Yeah, not pretty. Not sure if it would be too much to a parent or not. There is the woman who spends most of the movie with a mask-thing glued to her face that you see at one point without the mask on. Surprise, she's missing that part of her face.
Yes, but I also wouldn't suggest letting little kids watch Boardwalk Empire.
Well, otb was asking about mustard gas blisters. I figured her face would be a similar concern. Was just about to add that. Yeah, not pretty. Not sure if it would be too much to a parent or not.
Lynda Carter in glasses... how long until that pic is posted on the Oddly Attractive thread?Loved Linda Carter as a kid in her WW outfit but didn't realize, until seeing an episode recently, how cute she was in the uniform and giant glasses. Damn!
eta: pic
Yes. Although there's also no scarab beetle that comes crawling out of the hole and close enough to her mouth for her to eat it.Picture this but just a small patch off corner of the mouth, and maybe some burn disfiguration around it.

TouchéYes, but I also wouldn't suggest letting little kids watch Boardwalk Empire.
now, this Godot chic - while certainly gorgeous and sexy- is nowhere near as "well endowed" as Ms. Carter ... does that rankle the purists? or did they stuff the livin' #### outta that breastplate?
I believe they padded the hell out of Lynda's costume back in the 70s.now, this Godot chic - while certainly gorgeous and sexy- is nowhere near as "well endowed" as Ms. Carter ... does that rankle the purists? or did they stuff the livin' #### outta that breastplate?

no padding neededI believe they padded the hell out of Lynda's costume back in the 70s.
LC did a topless scene in a movie called Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw. She's not flat by any means, but there was some "exaggeration" in the WW costume.
First thing I think of when someone says Linda Carter (other than her in the wonder woman costume) is her in a swimsuit on Battle of the Network Stars. That was awesome when I was kid and the internet was nothing more than just a far off gleam in Al Gore's eye.NewlyRetired said:
Both of those movies are god awful. But I caught Suicide Squad on the movie channels a month or so ago and actually liked it a lot.Pretty sure 97% at RT is better than Superman and bats vs. superman combined.
It just looks like the costume is acting like a pushup bra to me.bcdjr1 said:LC did a topless scene in a movie called Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw. She's not flat by any means, but there was some "exaggeration" in the WW costume.
Serving in the Israeli army isn't as special as it may seem.Fun fact: Gail Gadot is a former Miss Israel and served two years in the Israeli army.
Conscription exists in Israel for all Israeli citizens over the age of 18 who are Jewish, Druze or Circassian; Arab citizens of Israel are not conscripted. Other exceptions are made on religious, physical or psychological grounds. The normal length of compulsory service is currently two years and eight months for men (with some roles requiring an additional four months of service), and two years for women.
Never said it was. I'm aware of the nature of army service. You don't find many actors/actresses who've served at all.Serving in the Israeli army isn't as special as it may seem.

"Above average" apparently...Jokes aside... There is some brief full frontal nudity with only a hand covering the groin. And also a naked ### shot.

There's only one thing that I didn't like about the movie:
After seeing Diana's display of godly power at the end, what happened to all that between WWI and BvS that she wasn't able to take on Doomsday by herself rather easily?
It's Christopher Nolan. I have high expectations and have read mostly good things.By the way, I don't know if "Dunkirk" will be a good movie or not... but I thought the trailer they showed for it before Wonder Woman was amazing.
OK for young kids?We all enjoyed the movie. Easily the best DC movie (ignoring the wonderful lego Batman) since The Dark Knight for us.
I struggle to answer these questions since I have no idea what people care about for their specific kids.OK for young kids?
Well, are the wonder boobs shown?I struggle to answer these questions since I have no idea what people care about for their specific kids.
Many Americans are fine with seeing massive amounts of violence but if a boob is shown, that is over the top. Others take the opposite approach.
I always recommend to read the parents guide on IMDB with the general comment that everything tends to look worse in print than on the screen for these parents guides.
