Worilds PIT OLB dynasty value? (1 Viewer)

PIT has a great track record of finding gems in the draft and they thought highly enough of him to snag him in the 2nd round. He is listed behind Woodley now but could he also replace Harrison if he retires?

He has two sacks thus far which is pretty good given that I don't think he sees many snaps.

How do you guys view him for dynasty leagues?

I own Harrison in a deep dynasty and I just picked Worlids up off the WW a couple of weeks ago. He physically fits the bill for them and Pittsburgh doesn't seem to swing and miss on LBs.

Thanks for the confirm. I think they especially don't miss in the 2nd round. That is no flier for them.

he's a definite "hold". i don't know how long i'll have to wait for him but i'll wait. upside is too good to cast aside.

Didnt they miss on the kid from UCLA in the third a few years ago? Bruce Davis?

They did, and the also have missed on guys like Alonzo Jackson/Adibi the Elder. They don't miss very often though. At least not with early picks.Difference w/Worilds and those guys, from all reports anyway, are that he is willing to bust his a@#$# in practices in an attempt to get better and learn the scheme. Unless my memory is really failing me, I can recall reports about Jackson and especially Davis that on more than one occasion they "big timed" it when it would come practice/film/etc. Take that FWIW.Worilds has played very few snaps 11-on-11, but he has made some plays when called upon. Most importantly, the explosive first step that he showed at Va. Tech hasn't deserted him at the pro level like some scouts feared it may. Guy looks like he's shot out of a cannon. His biggest hurdle is going to be coverage. I have not noticed them use him as anything other than a rusher yet, but that was to be expected. I wonder if he'll ever be able to do much in coverage, though he was dropped some in college, so he may wind up more of a Woodley than a Harrison/Porter, i.e. a guy who does most of his damage as a run stopper on 1st and 2nd and then puts his hand on the ground at the line on thirds so he isn't exposed as much in coverage, but there's nothing wrong with that either.Another positive to take away from his rookie season....he's been borderline fantastic on special teams. If he isn't leading the team in ST tackles, it's close.
