Worst Family Feud player ever (1 Viewer)

I like it because while some of the questions get risqué, my kids can guess as well as adults. I've never been a big fan of the Price is Right. I'm pretty sure if you guessed $1200 for every item up for bid, you would at some point get on stage.

In any case, Jeopardy is well ahead of all of the other game shows in TV history.

I heard former host Louie Anderson on the radio a few years back and he recounted a conversation he had with the studio (paraphrasing):

Louie: I think fast money should be $50,000

Studio: then we'd have to talk about your salary.

Louie: $20,000 is a lot of money.

Perfect TPIR strategy for every game, including Contenstant's Row. (Contestant's Row is easy: continually bid $1 more than the highest bid so far. Eventually, you'll win).

Edit: Interestingly, the pricing game "Now or Then" can be won every time with correct strategy, independent of any knowledge of the prices themselves.

Statistically speaking, I have to believe at least one person would have answered 4 to the 1st question.

This game show is pretty stupid. Besides the fact that the bottom 3 answers are always ridiculously stupid one offs, they aren't even playing for a lot of money...

$25k divided by 5 97 people rarely win anyways)? This has to be the lowest paying game show on TV, right? On top of the fact that basically nobody ever wins the final anyways. We take those 170 points and multiply by $5, we have $850 divided by 5, everyone gets $170.

The most money ever won was $160k or $32k per person... This is the record for this show. Typical winnings are usually in the 3 figure range. Not a fan.

If I'm ranking game shows that are currently on air:

Jeopardy

Price is Right

Wheel of Fortune

Lets Make a Deal

Family Feud
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire - pretty much can guarantee yourself $32,000 without having to sweat it.
I have not watched in years. From your response of no sweat, did they change the format of having to beat 10 other players in that intial challenge just to get in the seat?

There is still a daytime version. Contestants are preselected and don't contest 9 other players. Plus they have 10 questions of randomly selected dollar amounts in the first round which add up to a max of $68600 before getting to the last round of 4 questions. Lifelines have changed too. Ask the audience is still there but the other two were replaced to "jump the question" where if taken you lose the dollar amount of that question. Also quitting in the first round costs you half of what you earned.

How does 5 get 31 points but 4 get 0. Something seriously wrong with that.
They can skew the results any way they want. Go to the gym and ask 100 good-looking guys or ask 100 male Walgreens employees, you're going to get vastly different responses.
Sorry, unless you went to a convention of people who hate the number "4", there's no way that you ask 100 people that question and 31 pick 5 but 0 pick 4. There had to be a flaw in the options they presented.

Best one i ever saw live was a Hispanic family, which is really only relevant because of the pronunciation of r and ll in their natural language.

It was a fill in the blank question: Mean as a ______________ .

Lion

Tiger

Junkyard dog

Tiger

Those were all answered by the original team and maybe some others, but the white folks couldnt get the top answer.

The Hispanic family broke huddle and ran down to their microphones, and I remember hearing "gorilla" from someone and just thought, "what a moron." Final answer was naturally a very confident goreeeeeelllllaaaaaahhhhh, but sadly snake flipped over for the top answer. Never found a video of it online, so maybe it was just me, but I teared up a little after that one.
