Worst WR Core in the League (1 Viewer)

Who do you give it to? I look at Minnesota and Tennessee as the two worst. What do you guys think.
without a doubt. I have trouble determining who is worse between the two though. If you put a gun to my head though I'd probably have to lean toward the Titans being the worst.

What about the Chiefs?

Without Gonzalez and their pass-catching RBs, Kennison would not be a problem for most ppl to keep a lid on.

I don't think Atlanta's WR are bad...they just don't have a QB to throw them the ball. They have alot of young talent.Tenn is similar to ATL in that they have alot of young WR's that might have some promise if they could stay healthy.QUICK! Name one WR on the Browns not named Braylon without looking it up! I'd say the worst is MIN, followed by CLE, maybe HOU, KC, and PHI.

id be shocked if anyone on this board couldnt name joe j for the browns

When hes healthy hes solid. Obviously that is a rarity. I was just taking your comment at face value though. Not as a measure of his value to the team.

Two worst have to be Tennesse and Minny. Minny comes in #2 because their wrs have more experience. Also their younger guys have more upside than Tennessee.

1. Tennessee - Brandon Jones, Justin Gage, Roydell Williams, Courtney Roby, Jonathan Orr, Paul Williams, Joel Filani, Chris Davis, Clinton Solomon, Biren Ealy, David Givens (inj)

2. Minnesota - Bobby Wade, Troy Williamson, Sidney Rice, Billy McMullen, Martin Nance, Cortez Hankton, Aundrae Allison, Jason Carter, Todd Lowber, Chandler Williams, Paris Hamilton, Derrick Doyle, Justin Surrency

3. KC - Eddie Kennison, Samie Parker (RFA), Jeff Webb, Dwayne Bowe, Rod Gardner, Chris Hannon, Ean Randolph (KR), Brent Little - only one guy that's a true starter, Bowe will change this in a few years, Rod Garder??? are you kidding me?

4. Clev - Braylon Edwards, Joe Jurevicius, Travis Wilson, Josh Cribbs (KR/PR), Tim Carter, Syndric Steptoe, Efrem Hill - at least they got 2 guy that can start when healthy

5. Miami - Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, Derek Hagan, Ted Ginn (inj)(KR/PR), Kelly Campbell, Az-Zahir Hakim, David Sutton, P.K. Sam, Michael Malone - Chris Chambers has to be the most overrated WR on a year to year basis

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

San Diego - Vincent Jackson, Eric Parker, Malcom Floyd, Craig Davis (inj), Kassim Osgood, Greg Camarillo, Mark Simmons, Legedu Naanee - hopefully the coaches have taught Jackson to not spike the ball when he's not touched this year

Tampa Bay - WR: Joey Galloway, Michael Clayton (inj), Maurice Stovall, Ike Hilliard, David Boston, Paris Warren, Mark Jones - how long can you rely on Joey G, with that said, quietly he's had a very solid career

Atlanta - Michael Jenkins, Joe Horn, Roddy White, Laurent Robinson, Adam Jennings, Fred Gibson, Vincent MarshallEric Weems, Brian Finneran - Horn gives some credibility to this team, but he's aging fast.

Jax - Reggie Williams, Matt Jones (inj), Ernest Wilford, Dennis Northcutt, Charles Sharon, Mike Walker, John Broussard, Roosevelt Kiser, D'Juan Woods - alot of household names, zero production

Absurd to not have San Diego in your top 5 with those comments..

They don't have anything close to a #1 WR. At least the Chiefs have Kennison and the Browns have Edwards. That San Diego core is absolute dogschit.

As a Chicago homer, I have to put in a vote for the Bears. Minny and Tennessee are probably worse, IMO, but the Bears certainly have one of the worst groups of receivers in the league, and did nothing this offseason to address it. Although I guess you could consider Olsen almost a WR, and he should be a big upgrade if he pans out.

Muhsin Muhammad is getting old. He's no longer a legit #1. He would be a good #3 or an average #2 on most other teams at this point in his career. And way too many dropped passes last year.

Berrian is a solid receiver, but he's mainly a deep threat, not much more.

Mark Bradley has looked promising at times, but he can never stay healthy.

Then theres Rashied Davis and Devin Hester??? Not much there.

But who knows, the undrafted FA signing of David Ball could turn out. Maybe he will follow in Jerry Rice's footsteps.

P.S. I know this is splitting hairs, but why does almost everyone on FF boards always use the term "core", and not the correct term, "corps" ?

yup you are right they should be in the top 5. Probably drop Cleveland or Miami out.

As grammar cop, I've been off eating donuts and not cracking the whip. Sorry. :lmao:

Wow! other than the first 3 posts, most of the incite on this board is pretty bad! That's ok though! You guys just keep the ADP screwed up enough for the rest of us that know the difference between a bad WR and a guy that didn't get a lot of looks.

You're going to insight a riot if you keep posting like this.

The Raiders WRs are nothing to write home about. No more Randy Moss, even if he was underachieving. They have Jerry Porter, but he's always been a little overhyped without really producing the way he's supposed to. And he's coming off a wasted year, though at least he seems to be out of the doghouse. Ronald Curry never seems to stay healthy, and he's supposed to be a #3 any way. Mike Williams is the LenDale White of WRs. Doug Gabriel got cut midseason last year by the Pats because he couldn't cut it. Travis Taylor is a waste. Alvis Whitted? Don't make me laugh. The rest are rookies and second year guys who've proven nothing, and none of them even seem to have that great potential. I'd have them in the worst 5, too.

Surprised the Saints aren't on this list. Colston, Henderson, Meachem, Copper....that's not one of the worst in the league? Brees is making them looker better than they really are and I really don't think they're as good as people think. I guess everyone is including Bush as a receiver and that's the only reason they aren't listed.

No 49ers on the list?

Djax- if he can actually play 16 games is very good but I think he may be done

A. Lelie-

A. Battle- may be ok

Anyone else worth a mention?

Not the worst but may be in the discussion.

I know this will sound like a homer post, but Brees can only make them look as good as they are. They got open and caught balls. What more do you want? 4400 yards in the passing game pretty much should exclude a group from the worst WRs in the league discussion.
