I drafted Kiko and Olgetree as my 2 starting LBs?

Its a keeper league, and I have no LBs right now, the top 12-15 were kept. LBs dont go early, and unless Dq Jackson falls in my lap, I am thinking Kiko is a good strong pick, considering he is on a bad offensive team, and is listed as 3 down LB.

Olgetree is looking great in St Lou. I am not as sure of him, but I like the upside.

2/tacke, 1/assist, 5/INT, 4/sack, 10/TD

I need LBs, dont want Butler and Weatherspoon again.

I also like Cushing and Greenway, but they might go before I pick(my first pick isnt until 9th rd).

Whats the opinion of Kiko and Olgetree? Furture stars? Decent options? Flash in pans? Too unproven?

In a start 2 league, depending on the number of teams involved, I would have to think you can do better than Ogletree as a starter. He's going to face strong competition for tackles, especially when Dunbar returns and I don't think he will contribute enough pass rush/big play wise to make up for that. Your scoring is pretty slanted towards big plays though, so if you see that differently, I wouldn't argue too much.

I'd feel comfortable with Alonso as a starter but would see him as more of a LB2 in your format.

Kiko is a starter for you, but id much rather have Butler than Olgetree.

Had Butler last year, and it wasnt worth the pick. Maybe he does what he should this year.

this is who is left on the board. I like Woodyard, but think he will be taken before me. Fletcher is safe 1 year pick I guess. Would like to hear more about Carter in Dallas. Seems to be getting some preseason hype, even with Lee back.

D'Qwell Jackson Chad Greenway London Fletcher Donald Butler Perry Riley Bruce Carter Jerrell Freeman Kiko Alonso Curtis Lofton Brandon Spikes Brian Cushing Brad Jones Wesley Woodyard Russell Allen Phillip Wheeler Vontaze Burfict Sean Weatherspoon

The hype on Carter is he is now a 4-3 WLB, as opposed to inside in a 3-4. Carter is a major leap above those unproven guys.

I would take all of those guys but Allen, Wheeler, and Spikes over Ogletree. Keep in mind Ogletree plays in St Louis where the scorekeeper is brutal at awarding assists. Ogletree is the one living of hype in my opinion.

I agree with this. Plus where is Arthur Brown? Already gone? Ogletree only started looking good this past week, so he hasn't been tearing it up.

I like ogletree a lot in dynasty, even traded lofton for him but got a little extra back.

That said, I'd take lofton and dq here

DQ great, is he 27-28?

kiko could be in conversation for defensive rookie of the year...

good question of whether arthur brown avail.

bostic has looked very good in preseason...

carter has the physical tools and athletic gifts to be one of best WLBs in league, with lavonte david, in new cover two 4-3... he looked on the verge of stardom before going out with injury... imo, if healthy, he is destined for greatness...

ogletree has been impressive... against DEN, had FF/return TD & INT... dunbar was top 15 as three down LB, despite up thread reminder, making good points, that there will be competition for tackles (especially from laurinaitis, and STL statisticians have rep for stinginess with assists...
