When I moved to Florida in 1992 I played golf on a fairly regular basis. On a good day I could shoot in the low 90's but I was generally able to keep the ball on the course and enjoy myself. I started having issues with my back and was no longer able to play.

I recently retired at age 63 and my doctor has given me the okay to play again. Has anyone done something similar. I haven't kept up with the latest technology and have no idea what's out there. Should I buy "senior" clubs. Any tips would be appreciated.

Lots of good tips in the main golf thread. A club fitting would take into account your swing speed, etc.; and they could also review the latest tech with you…..good luck!

Stay retired from, golf..you will be much happier.

There are a lot of used golf club stores that will do a free fitting if you end up buying clubs through them.
