Would you give Carlos Lee for Carl Crawford? (1 Viewer)

I know (think) most would prefer Carlos Lee in general, but my team is pretty well set in the power departments with Miggy, Utley, Kinsler, Aramis, C.Davis, Quentin, Bay, and Beltre (with guys like M.Jacobs, Blalock, and Kubel on the bench). I could afford to give up some power. However, I'd project my team to finish dead last in steals. Outside of Kinsler and Rios, the only speed on the team comes from guys that I'll be rotating in and out of the lineup (Andrus, Dickerson, E.Burress and FraGu).

I don't know if he'd take Bay or Quentin, but I don't think he will. Being a keeper league, I'm no hurry to part with Quentin anyway.

Just curious what you guys think. I was planning on just scrounging for steals, but I don't think that's going to cut it.

It might be overpaying a bit, but I think Crawford's in for a monster season. Even if he doesn't have a monster rebound, it would still likely be good for my team.

I'd offer up Bay, but not Carlos Lee. I don't know how many times I've read 'Carl Crawford' and 'monster season' but it's probably been each of the last five years and it hasn't happened. Probably time to stop banking on it.

Look for better opportunities, they should appear before the month is over.

Chasing any single stat after one week with a lopsided trade is something to avoid. Especially speed, the cheapest stat of all., for HRs/RBIs, the most difficult.
