Back in the day, I owned Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell to glorious results.
Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce (in his prime) are a duo I would have loved to have owned as well...
I owned Holt and Bruce in a keeper league throughout their entire run of concurrent greatness. It was indeed great. But there is a psychological price to pay. Whenever you're watching a game, they'll cut to a highlight. You'll see Manning dropping back on the opponents' 20-yard line or so. You'll be loving life, basking in your genius, pitying all those Wayne-only and Harrison-only owners who are on the edge of their seats right now sweating it out. On those rare occasions when Anthony Gonzalez or Dallas Clark happens to be on the other end of that highlight, it will take all your will power to keep from going on a murderous rampage.
When I owned Bruce and Holt, Ricky Proehl probably caught 3 TDs per year, but it seemed like 12, because each of them was so very painful and unjust.
