For poor performance -yes

For disciplinary problems -yes

For being a narc -yes

For having an ugly mom -yes
That is a good point. If the kid was a serious disciplinary problem but had a hot mom....I am not seeing kicking the kid off.
Maybe the mom needs a father figure around the house to set the kid straight. Im sure you could discuss parenting philosophy after the kid goes to bed

He'd probably have to be hurting other kids or putting them at risk for me to take it that far.
other kids ON HIS OWN TEAM are afraid of him.

he seems to particularly delight in harming other kids. doesn't matter which team. he gets this scary smile of... i dunno.... gratification  on his face when he causes another kid harm. this one definitely has killer of small animals with his bare hands written all over him.

co-coach went ballistic on him tonight. shortly thereafter Merle Haggard came out on the field and asked if the kid was being a problem. well, yeah, Oral, the other team's coach threatened to punch him a few minutes ago and one of the parents is warming up on the speed bag over there. might be time to take him home.

If that kid is behaving to the point where its ruining the experience for everyone else, I'd tell the parents that the kid can't come back unless it behaves itself.

A good coach would know how to funnel that anger towards the opponents. :coffee:

i've tried. he thinks "kick the ball" means "kick that other kid in the back and then step on him".

last week his dad (? mom's boyfriend? ) was cheering for him as he knocked kids over.. had to put him in goal... where on every goal kick he kicked the ball as hard as he possibly could at other kids upper bodies and giggled orgasmically if they got hurt.

This. Have no hesitation in following through either.

Sounds like the kid has to go, but check with the League Office if there's a procedure or paper trail you need to create beforehand.

Those players that take quarters and soda pop bribes just to throw a game are ruining this great sport of tee-ball

First, see how he handles being demotes back to the 3yr old scout team. You can tell a lot about a kid in how he handles adversity.

Second, any kid that aggressive should be playing a more manly sport like football. Probably would make a good head hunting free safety.

I encouraged my 7 year old nephew to hip check a kid at the 4th of July parade cause the other kid was running in front of all the other kids pushing them out of the way to get candy.

Brodie knocked him on his ###. I gave my nephew a high five.

So you should encourage the other kids to rough him up a bit.

Did you order the Code Red?!?

man, had forgotten about this kid.  saw him and his mom at an event this summer.

he looks more wild-eyed, more vacant, less stable than 2 years ago :(   his mom told me he's seeing "doctors" and "taking meds" but nothing helps.

he was positively manic in the few minutes i chatted with his mom. tried getting him to talk to me or pay attention at all. he just was not capable.

:sadbanana:
