James Farrior for WR Reggie Brown?What if it was Brown and a draft pick (say 3rd round) for Farrior?

Unless you're well off at LB - as in Farrior is on your bench or is your worst starter - I'd pass on the straight up deal. I do think there will be good LB's available in the draft, and I like Brown, but I'm not sure if he's a top 20 WR in the next 2 years. That said if you need help at WR, and can get a 3rd or maybe a 2nd thrown in, I'd do it. A 2nd round rookie pick should get a good LB to develop.

We need the rest of your roster and lineup reqs, etc. But as a Brown owner, I sure won't be trading him for Farrior. WRs are valuable in that league, so that makes a difference.

I'm pretty deep at LB.Vilma, Pierce, Farrior, Crowder, Marshall and Polley, although I'll likely keep Polley unprotected. We start a minimum of 2 LBers but have a flex position so I almost always start 3.My WR's are:Rod Smith, D. Branch, Housh, D. Bennett, D. Henderson, McCareins, and M. Jones.On offense we have a choice of several lineups:1 RB, 4 WR, 0 TE2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TEThe two RB set tends to be most popular assuming you have the backs and the TE, which I do. I like Brown's chances of developing in Philly's pass happy offense. I also think I can still sell high on Farrior, wheras if I don't move him and he regresses I won't get diddley-poo for him.

I need to realize that my league goes deeper on D, so there's less on the wire. I saw the Chambers deal in the other forum, and would rpefer that, although I could see Brown ebcoming useful in a year or 2 to you - I don't see him starting over Housh/Branch/Smith.

I think you do that trade. Farrior has only one or two Top 20 linebacker years left and you have the depth to lose him.Right now there is nobody in Philly to be number 1 but Brown long term.

I moved Antonio Pierce for Chris Chambers instead. I still like the thought of selling high with Farrior if I can get a taker but likely won't move for Reggie at this point.Thanks for the feedback.
