But is that because he doesn't really have anybody else to throw to? Robinson would be head and shoulders above anybody else he has had as a complete WRAs an A. Rob owner - I don't like any of those landing spots outside of New England and Jacksonville. I am convinced Derek Carr only looks at Renfrow and Waller.
Difficult to say - Bryan Edwards was all the buzz and being compared to Terrell Owens, but hasn't produced in this offense. I just think he locks onto Waller and doesn't progress through his reads. It isn't like other guys are getting targets and missing catches. But is that because he doesn't really have anybody else to throw to? I think NEP & LV are the best options on that list.As an A. Rob owner - I don't like any of those landing spots outside of New England and Jacksonville. I am convinced Derek Carr only looks at Renfrow and Waller.
I guess with Jacksonville, my thought is Trevor Lawrence is a capable passer and there should be plenty of negative game scripts for targets, yards and garbage points?I think NEP & LV are the best options on that list.
Colts w/JimmyG is next best but still meh, and CLE & JAX would be rough. FF WR2 at best.
Yeah, but how much would ARob hate being with yet another young and/or inaccurate passer?I guess with Jacksonville, my thought is Trevor Lawrence is a capable passer and there should be plenty of negative game scripts for targets, yards and garbage points?
I do agree to an extent, but if Lawrence develops at the rate he is predicted and ends up being Andrew Luck/Peyton Manning-esque those growing pains should be pretty limited and he would be the best QB ARob has ever caught a ball from.Yeah, but how much would ARob hate being with yet another young and/or inaccurate passer?
He’s left 1000s of yards on the field with passed thrown behind him for years, be it Mitch, Fields, etc.
I’m not a Big Mac Jones guy, but he is accurate
ARob might want the reunion with JAX, but losing & having to bail out yet another young signal caller might make the euphoria of that short-lived.
We'll see what NE will end up doing, but they are turning over every rock and evaluating every possible option in the WR market, whether that be by through free agency, trade, or the draft. The only player I have not seen connected to the Pats at all is Amari, and I am guessing that's because of his expected price tag. I'm doubtful they will draft a WR in the first round this year, mostly because CB is a bigger need. They lost Gilmore and Jackson in under a year. BB usually will pick defense over offense in the draft, and they probably need a young explosive LB. They also need help at OT. I know the media narrative is WR, WR, WR . . . they have to take a WR, but I think they are far more likely to want an established WR than drafting a first round one again after the Harry fiasco.I think Jax would be great for ARob (assuming TL develops, which I think he will.)
But would love to see him in NE to finally give them a legit wideout and help Mac Jones.
Really, that's their fault. Only Reagor was as bad, and all the warning signs were there for Reagor for anybody paying attention. N'Keal was never a separator, and it showed in the pros. Brady won't throw it unless you're open, and neither could Mac his first year.WR than drafting a first round one again after the Harry fiasco
The story goes that the NE scouts were all against taking Harry and BB was the one that liked him and overruled the entire scouting department. That’s what caused the team to go to a “more collaborative” draft room approach. Allegedly it’s not just Bill’s decision 100% anymore, but I don’t really buy that.Really, that's their fault. BB preaches no turnovers. He's not going to like a 50/50 guy, so why draft one?
Bad all around -- and could have been in foresight -- by the Patriots.
That sounds like something that should have happened before. I think a more collaborative approach suits the Patriots. See last year with Harris and a few fumbles that didn't earn him immediate benching. The story goes that the NE scouts were all against taking Harry and BB was the one that liked him and overruled the entire scouting department. The problem for Harry has been he will make a spectacular catch and then drop 6 easy ones. Since no one trusts him, the QBs never look for him. There have been many times he was open but was not targeted. NE turned him into a good blocking WR. But how valuable is that from a first round pick?
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Lions, Browns and Chiefs are amongst the teams in on free agent Allen Robinson.
They surely aren't the only ones. Amongst those three, we know where we would be signing if we were Robinson. 28-year-old Robinson seems at the stage of his career where he needs some space created for him. Jared Goff and Baker Mayfield are not going to help in that department. Robinson figures to have a new home within the next 48 hours.

And Van Jefferson isGood for Arob, good for Kupp. Probably not good for Woods
Joannie loves Chachi.Stafford has to feel like Scott Baio at the Playboy Mansion.
Stafford seems to be set up well. Where should he be placed in redraft?Stafford has to feel like Scott Baio at the Playboy Mansion.
Much higher than the 9th where I got him last seasonStafford seems to be set up well. Where should he be placed in redraft?
Probably best discussed in the Stafford thread.Stafford seems to be set up well. Where should he be placed in redraft?
I think he will be ok with itGreat offense and a chance to win, but he’s going to have to get used to fewer but better targets.
Here’s to you Mr. Robinson, Stafford loves you more than you will know…Stafford seems to be set up well. Where should he be placed in redraft?
Rams signed Allen Robinson, formerly of the Bears, to a three-year, $45 million contract.
Coming off a down 2021 season, Robinson's deal with LA includes a whopping $30 million guaranteed. This could end speculation that Odell Beckham will return to the Rams in 2022 after suffering an ACL tear in the Super Bowl. Robinson alongside Cooper Kupp and a healthy Robert Woods would make for quite the receiver trio, perhaps the best in the league. A-Rob's horrific 2021 season -- in which the Bears coaching staff seemed uninterested in using him and he struggled to recover from a bout with COVID-19 -- might make it easy to forget his 2020 campaign, in which he went for 1,250 yards and six touchdowns on 102 catches. Robinson, who turns 29 in August, should have some juice left as a possession receiver and the second or third option for Matthew Stafford in LA. Robinson's signing likely ends Van Jefferson's role as an every-down wideout in the Rams offense.

I very nearly got him as a throw-in to a deal last year, but as we were going back & forth, OBJ went to LAR.Best #5 WR around.
FieldsI think he will be ok with it
You buried the lede:Fields
Dalton
Mitch
Foles
I think Stafford might rank higher.
Lions should inquire about WoodsThey can't keep them, can they?
Robert Woods has a roster bonus due, he could get traded
Why can't they have a WR group of: Kupp, Robinson, Woods, Jefferson, Atwell?I like this move because the Rams can't possibly keep all their backup receivers. Some teams are going to benefit greatly from this move.

3 years of Bortles.
I still remember some training camp video of ARob trying to catch a sideline pass, and the mic catching him saying to himself after a bad throw, "just keep it on the field"
Other WRs want the QB to put it high or to the left, ARob dreams of QBs keeping it inbounds.![]()
Brandon Marshall was ok, no?!ARob deserved a better fate in Chicago, probably the best Wr I can remember on the Bears in 50 years.
Marshall was in a better situation, they are pretty similar though.Brandon Marshall was ok, no?!
