I decided to hang on to him in my one league that I have him. The reason I decided to keep him is not because I think he will start getting more attention, but because the bye weeks are around the corner. Although I may still drop him on the Sunday WW run. Still debating.

5 games in. Whole offense seems out of sync so Stafford just looking for Kupp.

I expect them to figure it out. It looks to me that Stafford doesn't have time to go through a progression... if Oline can give him a half second more I think this offense jumps forward.

I already told you I would do it. ARob's 1 catch for 12 yards on two targets does not scare me. Neither do the 38 catches for 410 yards (10.8 YPC) he had last year. That's fade material all day. I've bet people on the board here before and luckily everyone has paid (I've won every time).

Well he sent me his personal info over DM, so so hopefully that checks out and that it isn't some new Eminence profile.

It’s his 20th different time back on these boards under a different name - it’s always so obvious when he comes back. Same pattern every time. Now I’m not saying he won’t pay his bets (I have no idea) but don’t be shocked if he disappears (maybe not even voluntarily) and comes back under a new name.

I figured it out when he said that I was intimidated by him. That’s an old line of his. I actually made a post about how he should change up his shtick it’s so old now but deleted it - don’t want to deal with him again.

Well looks like I fell for the Eminence trap. He made the bet with me, even made a group PM with a few of you in it in order to make it official, sent me his Facebook info, etc.....

And then when Jefferson went on IR, he stopped responding to my messages and looks like he's either blocked me or disabled his profile because it says error when I click on him.

Unreal that there's people like this out there.

A-Rob's value is just not changing and it will not change until there are significant improvements to the QB play, O-line, or offensive scheme in general. These are a lot of variables that must improve- I'd rather let someone else deal with it or blow FAAB on waivers a little later in the season if it does get better. Looks like a complete waste of money right now for the Rams. MVS probably would've been a better fit.

This really seems to get overlooked. I get the Bears offense was terrible but somehow Mooney managed to catch 81 passes while Robinson struggled.

he is to blame as well. However I do see some separation on replays. Why is he playing full time snaps if he’s so bad? The rams have no choice? Why not throw tutu at well out there even if he sucks? At least he adds speed.

Just think players who suck but are getting paid a lot…they just don’t play much. Maybe rams don’t want to own up on the mistake?

Lord help me, I may actually roll him out today due to the injuries and general suckitude of my depth. It's him, Akers, Rashaad, or the scrap heap of free agents in a deep 12 team league (which includes Parker). He's out there running routes which still has upside.

Maybe the Monstars just sucked his skill out like they did to Russell Wilson though.

Allen Robinson caught 4-of-5 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Los Angeles' Week 11 loss to New Orleans.​

In fairness, all five of his targets were from Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense lurched in a different direction with Bryce Perkins under center. But it did not look materially different than it has from a box score standpoint this season. Robinson dropped a sideline ball early in the first half, but scored on a three-wide look to the outside as the middle receiver on a slant. If Stafford is back, he might find his way to playable WR3 territory in what will project as a throw-heavy game against the Chiefs. That might be asking too much.

Robinson has gotten in limited practices throughout the week and looks to be trending towards playing against the Chiefs. Without Matthew Stafford, though, he'll be hard to recommend as more than a low-end DFS flier or WR4.

The Rams will also be without Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp this week. The Chiefs are 15.5-point favorites. Robinson's absence will open up some low-value targets for Van Jefferson and Ben Skowronek. Both players are low-end WR4 options this week.

ARob in LAR remains one of the fastest falls from grace in recent memory. He couldn’t get separation, and was just so so ineffective even when Stafford was playing well.

He looked washed. I doubt anyone would deal for him, but all it takes it 1.

Could be good, could just be depth. Either way seems decent for Pickett to have another veteran receiver.

Won't dispute he looked terrible last year and not so great the previous season either. I tend to think he can't run very well anymore so I'd lean on him being a bit toasty as well. But I can make some excuses for him. The entire Bears fiasco in 2021 and last year due to injuries to Stafford he got almost no work with him in training camp.

But I think for $5M on a one year deal it's ok. Agree Beckham looks better, way better because the last time I saw OBJ play he looked outstanding but no idea now, but Robinson will cost a 1/3rd or less of what Odell costs. I'm of the opinion players like Thielen and Woods are more toasted and they both are getting paid $15-17M over the next two years and they are both 2-4 years older then Robinson.

So in the context of what the market is for vet WR's I think a one year deal for $5M is ok. In short if I was a GM I'd rather give Robinson that deal then any of those other 3 I mentioned.

As for why the Steelers want him a little backstory. Last year in FA the Eagles thought they had agreed to a deal with him. Then the Bills snagged Von Miller which caught the Rams off guard and they immediately shifted to an aggressive move for Robinson. The VP for player personnel at the time for the Eagles, Andy Weidl, has since been hired by the Steelers in a similar role, just titled as Assistant GM. I think it's a pretty educated guess he's got a thing for Robinson.

Also I love "what if" stories. Safe to assume if Von Miller remained in LA, Robinson would have been an Eagle and they would not have traded for AJ Brown. Makes me wonder if Hurts would have got that extension if it went down like that?

Until today I was thinking ARob was dynasty toast, he may very well still be toast. There are a few reasons that he could return some kind of value for a year or 2.

Steelers are WR University. My first instinct after hearing the trade was if there was any team that was going to take ARob in, Steelers are as good as it gets. Not for landing spot or any glaring opening but let's face it, this franchise has been money at valuing the WR position for years now.

Last year there was much debate early on when Stafford was still playing, ARob was getting open but Stafford never looked his way. I certainly noticed this early last year during a few of the Rams games I watched. To me it seemed like whatever side of the field ARob was on, Stafford was only concentrating on the other half of the field. Let's see if the Steelers can bring back some of his value with a different system and new scenery.

Steelers restructured WR Allen Robinson's contract.​

The Steelers will pay Robinson $5 million this year, with the Rams covering $10 million of his $15 million salary. Robinson's 2024 cap hit was also lowered, dropping to $10 million. The Steelers will have a decision to make on Robinson, who has no guaranteed money left, next offseason. Robinson is owed a $5.75 million roster bonus in March.
