WR Antonio Brown, FA (1 Viewer)

I feel sorry for the guy. I think he just needs the season to start. Look at how crazy we’re all going waiting for kickoff.

jk  he crazy

No, but he did insinuate his QB was gay, trash his HC in the media & act like a petulant child.

As an aside, I believe Garcia ended up marrying his playboy playmate g/f, and if this is gay, please sign me up, because I’m super extra completely gay for her.

her name is Carmella Decesare if you’re interested in NSFW images. I’m not encouraging this, but I’m also not not encouraging this.
I'll bet she gives great helmet?

I have him in 1 league out of 6.  All redraft.  I feel for those that have him.  It's one thing to get injured, it's another matter when it's self induced.

When  Vontaze Burfict and OJ SImpson fear that you're acting inappropriately... well, that really should be all the "wake up call" you need.

As a Steelers fan, I finally get what everyone was laughing about last year. This is awesome!

At this point I just hope this guy seeks, finds, and benefits from some mental health screening, counseling, medication, etc. Something seems to have gone very haywire in his headspace.
I need mental health screening for drafting him. I pride myself in not getting involved in situations like this and yet I did. I have a really solid squad otherwise. What needs to happen is for AB to hold a press conference and apologize to everyone. If not, this could be a lost year. I have never hated a player more than this.

On the positive side, I drafted Hunter Renfrow in the 20th round of another league.

Pats really didn't really need Chad Ochocinco either... kept around Josh Gordon who, for better or for worse, is a bigger risk than Brown. Yeah, I could see a path to the Pats if Brown is released and sulking at home for a month w/o being the center of attention. The bigger issue is the possible suspension.

Oh you know it!
I recall another HOF receiver that had completely checked out on the Raiders, had a poor attitude, and everyone thought was done and got traded to the Pats...seemed to work out rather well for New England.

Steelers Depot‏ @Steelersdepot

Lol, AB has unfollowed the #Raiders and QB Derek Carr on IG Did the same #### with the #Steelers

odds of AB playing week 1 for the Raiders isn't 0 yet right? i honestly feel like Gruden is equally crazy and controlling enough that he can make this right. somehow. knock on wood if you're with me...

It sure seems that it is over for AB and the Raiders unless he comes to his senses and apologizes. this doesn't seem likely. I feel like both sides have gone past the point of no return most likely. I think the range of outcomes for this year are pretty vast ranging from him retiring to moving on to a better fantasy location. If there is to be a resolution it will have to come from him.

Hey, don't get in AB's way. He's going for the previously unheard of daily double: suspended for consecutive games in two different seasons by two different teams for two different offenses.

i think his entire plan was to get his guaranteed cash and then bail on football / create this crapstorm and walk/get cut

but i think he was too dumb to realize that the raiders can still cut ties and deny him that money

i dunno if u meant this as a serious post, but i believe it. it's pretty much the only thing that makes any sense.

Speak for yourself. I like watching historically good players ball. This is sad, to me.
Are you sad because the Raiders aren't treating him fairly (or something like that)?  Or are you sad that AB as (apparently) lost his mind and can't do the basic things from a team POV that would allow him to play football?

AB is being a ####### psycho.

I'm sad that I might not see him playing football anymore. He's an all-timer.

As was pointed out to AB and his agent with the helmet crap... his guaranteed cash is contingent upon him showing up for work and participating. He could very well end up with voided contract and get nadda.

picture yourself posting on social media, for the world to see, a letter from your employer outlining your poor behavior and antics...

and telling them to fine you for it?

you got a job the next day?

you getting any sympathy/respect from the guys showing up every day busting their ### for 1/4 of your salary?

Chiefs could drop him a line! AB gets two revenge games per year and KC gets to be the first team ever to average 40 points per game.

Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora

Not going to repeat what I've heard AB called Mike Mayock out on the field Wednesday. don't have enough corroborating sources yet. But if what I was told is even in the ballpark of what was said then I can't see this player being there much longer

Bill Williamson‏ @BWilliamsonNFL

Pretty weak. They had a full night and morning to make a plan, especially after it leaked. He reportedly threatened the GM and still no suspension. Could mean Mayock and Gruden aren’t on same page on this one. That would be an ugly scenario.

Bill Williamson added,

#Raiders GM Mike Mayock at his press conference: “Antonio Brown is not in the building today. He’s not going to be practicing. I don't have any more information. When we do, I’ll get it to you. That’s it for today."

THIS!

I don't think Mike and Chuckie are on the same page and Gruden got control of the roster when he signed his ten year contract so this would not be ideal if they don't see eye-to-eye on this one.

March analysis: the Steelers got ONLY a third and fifth-round pick for Antonio Brown?

September analysis: the Steelers got a third AND fifth-round picks for Antonio Brown?
