Dynasty-wise, which of these late round draft picks has the best chance to shine?
Lavelle Hawkins - Tenn has a young stable of WRs to choose from already. Between Gage, McCareins, Roydell, and Paul Williams fighting for spots, it may take some time for Hawkins to break into the starting lineup. I heard he was the consistent one in college, but will that consistency carry over to the NFL? I can Hawkins getting into the top 3 by the end of the year.
Adrian Arrington - NO traded back into the 7th rnd to get him. But were they chasing lightening in a bottle again looking for the next Colston. Reports from OTAs show he shined when given the opportunity. However, he has to battle uphill for a spot against Colston, Henderson, Copper, Moore, Meachum, and Patten. There's also word of him starting the year on the Practice Squad. If NO tries to put him there, I don't see him clearing waivers. My best guess is that Arrington could make it up to WR3 or 4 by the end of the year. The future would look bright for NO with Colston, Meachum, and Arrington as their top 3.
Marcus Monk - The WR field is wide open in Chicago. Booker is old. Bradley is injured. Someone needs to step up. I've read that Monk would've been a 2nd rnd pick if he came out last year. The injury dropped his stock and team's shied away. He ran a 4.5something at the combine, but then came back down to 4.4something in his private workout. I would assume he is on the mend and ready to go. If he has the talent, I can see him being the quickest one from this group to find a spot as WR1 or 2 on this team. That being said, until Chicago finds a solid QB to throw the ball, he still may not have much fantasy impact.
