WR Hunter Renfrow, CAR (1 Viewer)

He’s just not an NFL athlete. Probably not totally healthy either. He was living on a thin line with his size and athleticism. Once he loses even a little bit of athletic ability, he’s not going to be able to play no matter how crisp the routes are
I think he’d be a value add for any team in need of a slot guy.

Again, he’s just 27. He wasn’t productive last year because the Raiders just didn’t incorporate him into the game plan at all. Likely due to very mediocre QB play & hyper targeting Adams.

I agree with @BobbyLayne that the Saints make the most sense.
I'm still holding him until final cuts in a few dynasty leagues , but how often do we see guys going to the teams that make most sense to us?

Looks like he might be a potential signing after week 1 which sucks for him but would make him a decent WW add depending on situation.

I think that last link I posted is a prediction and not a report. My bad.

Oh crap. You got suckered by the new SI-pioneered style of "reporting," which is to take speculation from a blog or opinion columnist at a sporting publication and use the headline deceptively. They make those opinions or suggestions sound like fact. They "report" on other people's suggestions to make their headlines seem like it's actually happened.

Journalism is really the worst I've ever seen in my fifty-two years and stuff like this gives oldsters like you and I pause. The kids swim in it like it is water, but then they're having a real problem with truth because everything is a lie to them so they believe the dumbest ****.

I feel like when I Google a players name and hit the news button, one of the top 5 links is always something that is legit fake or from 2 years ago but republished so shows as if it just happened.

SID2006 posted something in the Russia thread that I think he thought was new but was from May. I'm not sure who to blame in the whole caving in of journalism. I think the old families that held prestige and power from the print newspapers having heirs that sold all of them to equity firms was the worst thing that could have happened. Forget the political lamestream accusations, people's unwillingness to pay for unfree information, the generational divide, the lack of reading, etc. you name it.

The worst thing was simply them dying and their kids not caring about the family prestige it gave people like the Grahams and just proceeding to sell it all off. Vanity and pride might be the first deadly, but it floated the news for about fifty years.

"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." I got suckered too - fake BS is everywhere, it's frustrating, you have to be skeptical of absolutely everything you read now.

The worst part of it is that I Googled "Washington Commanders", limited the results to the last 1 hour, and there it was near the top of the results.
Still, my responsibility for posting it mistakenly here.

Panthers are re-signing WR Hunter Renfrow to their active roster, per sources. Renfrow played at Clemson, and now will get to play at Carolina.

In a corresponding move, Carolina WR Jalen Coker is being placed on IR due to a quad injury.

Panthers re-sign WR Hunter Renfrow to 53-man roster and place WR Jalen Coker on injured reserve with a quad injury he suffered in practice Thursday.

Renfrow could have an immediate role in Carolina’s offense.

Hunter Renfrow caught 7-of-9 targets for 49 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ Week 2 loss against the Cardinals.

Renfrow ran as the Panthers’ primary slot receiver — as he did in Week 1 — and caught two of Bryce Young’s three touchdowns in Carolina’s furious second half comeback attempt. Hunter, as he did in his Raiders days, creates space in the short areas and is sure handed. He could function as a solid outlet for Young all season as the team’s No. 2 receiver (Xavier Legette turned eight targets into -2 yards on Sunday). Renfrow could benefit from pass-heavy game scripts this season if the Carolina defense remains one of the NFL’s worst. He’s a passable option in PPR formats for Week 3 against the Falcons.

maybe something here? Leggette has been terrible this year and I can see him playing slot and Coker kicking outside (when he returns).
