WR Michael Gallup, WAS (2 Viewers)

Lol, wut? Dak will throw to the open man, there won’t be a consistent week to week performer, not unlike how the Patriots do it.

Everybody disagrees but nobody can open their mouth?
woaaahhh... easy boy

I see you're trying to rein in our expectations, but dont be so bucky

I disagree with your suggestion that there wont be a stable fantasy wr each week. I think Gallup could carry this team on his bareback once they break him in.

Giddy up!

Tex

It’s almost like some of you have blinders on. Rewatching his game, he did a really good job at jockeying for position down the stretch.

Great opportunity for Gallup in Dallas.  No more Witten and what else do they have?
No more Dez either.  There are many targets that have to go somewhere.I think there are more talented rookie WRs but Gallup landed in the perfect spot.

Very lucky for him. Must have a horseshoe up his ###

No, if that were true he would have been drafted by the Colts.

Seriously. Beasley has been impressing in camp from all I’ve read but is anyone expecting him to be a legit WR2 producer? Prob not. Is Rico gonna get red zone touches? Does Gallup run a good fade route? I need to watch me some Dallas preseason games cuz I can’t seem to make a decision on this kid.

I wouldn't use Rico as a basis for making decisions about any other players.

Trying to figure out how targets will be divvied up between Hurns, Gallup, Williams, Beasley and Austin is hurting my head. I don't even know why I really care.

So what's the Dallas homers take off this first game?  I drafted Gallup expecting him to eventually take over the WR1 role  You expecting more opportunity's in the first home game?

In. Have him on the bench in one league and thinking about dropping him for potential upgrade. Crazy to drop him for Ryan Grant? I haven’t watched Gallup at all.

Didn't really see the game and I'm not a homer, but as arguably his biggest fan coming into the NFL, he was never an instant start for an NFL team or fantasy.  Anyone who said he'd be "instant impact" was using rose colored glasses.  I expect his usage to eventually go up, but this o-line was a complete mess missing a couple key pieces giving Dak no time.  Kind of just a weird performance by that whole team overall, but Gallup is not an option in redraft.  Dynasty we have to wait and see obviously.

I may not be one of homers but it's open secret on lack of imaginative offensive play-calling from Cowboys, preferring to be a smash-mouth offense. Maybe I'm in minority but I really believe Dak Prescott to be highly overrated QB.

Most of the Rookie WR's had a slow start  Four w/o a catch!  Guess Cowboy WR's may not be like the Dolphin receiving core  But I sorta expect more plays  I'm just posting in hopes of hearing any real thoughts about his play that may not be good  Inability to learn playbook type stuff or something

Hard to comment on dropping  As I say I expect Dez to step up w/ what should be a much needed and solid WR  Grant should probably be added if possible  Normally it's not to wise to draft rookie wr's expecting too much especially early in the Season  (I play Dynasty)  Chance we see more against the Giants at home OR learn more

Gallup looked so promising in the preseason, and still has that talent, but this passing offense is suspect, and as a result, I don't think any of the Dallas WRs right now, despite their talent, are going to be reliable contributors.

Things may change, and Gallup may still have big games, but not sure based on this team's passing O trajectory if you will be able to predict which ones those will be, or if their will be any consistency at all.

At this point, cutting bait on Gallup, but keeping him on waiver speed dial for his talent alone.
