WR Odell Beckham, Jr., Free Agent (1 Viewer)

Addicted to his own brand.   Drop that sex tape next Odell.    ClownShoes#13
LOL.so true.

he's a joke. not worth his contract, doesnt produce like he did in his 1 'good' year. maybe the most underacheiving player in the history of the league. posterboy for the 'what have you done lately' billboard.

Just one good year?  Good grief with the hyperbole

Odell Beckham (core surgery) expects to be ready for OTAs.

Beckham posted a video on his Instagram of him running on a treadmill this week. It's obviously a good sign he's already cleared for light workouts. Beckham should be fully recovered by mid-March, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Browns move him slowly.

Yahoo's Charles Robinson reports, "The Vikings haven't had any trade discussions with the Browns about WR Odell Beckham."

Robinson added, "No calls about Beckham Jr. and no discussion of trade compensation. As an aside, the Browns do not have Beckham Jr. on the block." There have been some lower-level reports indicating the Browns were shopping Beckham, but that always seemed like a bit of a stretch. Cleveland currently boasts arguably the most talented WR-WR-RB-RB-TE core in the league, giving Baker Mayfield numerous high-level weapons and a great chance to rebound from his porous 2019 season. OBJ was obviously a disappointment in 2019, but increased reps with Mayfield, combined with the potential to have better health, makes 2020 a prime bounce-back campaign.

Browns chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta said rumors the team was trying to trade Odell Beckham to the Vikings were "completely false."

"It's frustrating obviously," DePodesta said. "It's pretty clear what we're trying to build. The idea we'd take away from that core doesn't make sense and is not something we're exploring." DePodesta's words are easy to believe since unloading Beckham at this stage would indeed make close to zero sense. Someone got some retweets, but this will not be happening.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Browns have not discussed trading Odell Beckham.

"That's the truth," a team source insisted to Schefter. Its a reiteration of what chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta said earlier this week. Even if it is not the truth, it is notable that the Browns are working so hard to create the impression they have never wanted to deal OBJ. Trading Beckham at this juncture would indeed make little sense, so it's possible DePodesta and company are being truthful.

Odell Beckham (sports hernia) posted a video showcasing a full-body workout.

Beckham was lifting weights and doing cardio work, appearing to be at near full health months after undergoing sports hernia surgery. Beckham said he tore multiple muscles in his abdomen after aggravating his midsection last summer prior to the 2019 season. The former All-Pro said it was "probably one of the worst surgeries I’ve ever had," but his rehab has gone well. "Guess I’m really trying to put my body back together... Trying to build up resiliency, more strength," Beckham said. "I would honestly say this is probably going to be one of my best seasons -- bigger, stronger, faster. This my time.’’ Unlocking Odell has to be a priority for Baker Mayfield and the new coaching staff.

he's a huge question mark for me this year.  I just don't think mayfield is very good and i think they will run and pass to the te and rbs more.  For me the value is not there for him

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Odell Beckham (sports hernia) is "free and clear" and "100 percent" following surgery.

Stefanski also said Jarvis Landry (hip surgery) has “looked great” but remains on a “different recovery program.” Beckham played through multiple injuries last year but should be fully healed and available for the start of training camp on July 28. Prioritizing the 27-year-old’s explosiveness will be key for the Browns’ hunt in the AFC North this season.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot reports Odell Beckham has no plans of opting out.

Beckham is gaining traction for his most recent comments — "“We’re not ready for football season" — in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, but those remarks were made two weeks ago before the 27-year-old saw how safe Cleveland's facility was. Cabot confirms that Beckham has no plans of opting out and remains "100 percent" following sports hernia surgery. With Jarvis Landry (hip surgery) questionable to start the year, OBJ will undoubtedly be leaned on early for Baker Mayfield and the new coaching staff.

NFL training camp 2020: Good news for Alex Smith, Gardner Minshew

Excerpt:

Odell Beckham Jr. stole the show Sunday with several impressive catches, including a dazzling one-handed grab in coverage along the sidelines during 7-on-7. Afterward, coach Kevin Stefanski praised OBJ's ball skills.

"The unique thing with him (is) the ball skills. I just think he is special in that regard. When the ball is in the air, he has a knack of getting it any which way he can -- one-handed, two-handed, along the boundary. He just does a nice job from a ball skills standpoint." -- Jake Trotter

Browns Notebook: First Weekend of Practices

Excerpt:

Odell Beckham looks healthy. His speed isn't really what stands out. It's his cuts, changes of directions and ability to contort his body. He made a few really impressive catches in Sunday's practice, but the most notable was working over the middle, going up for the ball, exposing his midsection and then as he catches, twisting his body around to start working up field.

Whether it was a 'groin' or sports hernia, consider what those type of movements would do to exacerbate that type of pain. The fact Beckham is able to practice at all is promising but that type of freedom of movement is promising, gives hope that he can be the stud receiver the Browns were hoping for in the trade with the New York Giants.

There is another article about this. I was hesitant to post it, but it is news, sorta?

I hope it’s not true, because this is most definitely not social distancing behavior.

I’m not even gonna mention that he plays for the Browns, because maturity.
