WR Odell Beckham, Jr., Free Agent (7 Viewers)

All he was doing is taking up a roster spot from someone not earning a check that deserve it more than he does. Go away OBJ.

Father time and injuries. Couldn't sepatate anymore. He was OK last year in BAL, made some plays. Miami signed him knowing he had some undisclosed (to the fans) knee procedure that could cause him to miss the start of the season. The injury is still not disclosed, not in draftsharks, probably a scope. Why such secrecy?

He wasn't a diva in Miami, until perhaps the end when he was out for personal reasons.

You should try it some time and see how long you can make it last!

That comment from Odell might be one of the dumbest most unaware comments I've ever heard come out of someone's mouth.

ETA-it's like a comment I'd expect to read if The Onion wrote a made up article that he was facing BK.

But the memories and videos with moochers downing $10k bottles of alcohol live forever!
NYC in a big living quarters couldn't have been cheap.

Previously sold his Cleveland house.

Watering the lawn annual cost and pool evaporation - wouldn't surprise me that it was $30k a year. Unforeseen costs like that of having a huge home and yard. The little things add up quickly.

Wonder if he already pawned his bling-blings and car - both depreciate the moment they are bought.

this is why the average person has issues with professional athletes.

  • Jim Bennett: I've been up two and a half million dollars.
  • Frank: What you got on you?
  • Jim Bennett: Nothing.
  • Frank: What you put away?
  • Jim Bennett: Nothing.
  • Frank: You get up two and a half million dollars, any ******* in the world knows what to do: you get a house with a 25 year roof, an indestructible Japanese-economy ****box, you put the rest into the system at three to five percent to pay your taxes and that's your base, get me? That's your fortress of ****ing solitude. That puts you, for the rest of your life, at a level of **** you. Somebody wants you to do something, **** you. Boss pisses you off, **** you!

Words to live by.

And you forgot the ending: Don't drink.

(ie, don't piss away the money for absolutely nothing)
