WR Ricky Pearsall, SF (1 Viewer)

BTJ had his most productive weeks with Mac Jones last year, or so I'm told. Haven't looked it up.

I'm really high on Pearsall and think he can produce even with Mac Jones and all of the missing weapons.

Sitting him this week for other options but I might change my mind and would start with confidence.

Can we trust him with Mac Jones?
You can't actually trust anyone or anything in this hobby, just look at some of the duds a bunch of proven stud WR's put up in week one with their starting QB. No guarantees here.

But should he be ok with Mac? I think so. I posted upthread that last season Brian Thomas broke out with Mac. I basically assumed that had more to do with BTJ improving as his rookie season progressed but during the summer someone made a cutup of every BTJ target and I recall watching that and changing my tune a little because Mac was throwing him some really nice balls. Hate to say it but better ball placement then Trevor.

Jakobi Myers was also ok with Mac though Kyles a lot better schemer then who the Pats had at the time and I think most of us would be disappointed if Ricky performed at Myers NE level, I tend to view that as the floor outlook.

whats-his-name

His name is Ugly Girl 💁‍♀️
Is this some carry over from the Caleb Williams thread?

Jeebus, no. Just a simple joke about what he looks like in his mug shot. Keep me out of that nonsense, please.

Should we expect similar production from Ricky Pearsall with no Brock Purdy? 👀

what if CMC is the 1st read?

this is going to be an MVS game isn't it. Yeah MVS catches 4 for 124 and a TD. Pearsall gets 8 targets 4 catches for 35 yards that's it.

Dwain McFarland
Ricky Pearsall through 13 career games:

10% targets (bad)
16% targets per route (bad)
16% air yards (bad)
1.49 yards per route run (bad)
9.1 ppr per game (bad)

Still a very young player--things can change--but not dominating even with teammates injured.

This season:

18% targets (meh)
17% targets per route (bad)
46% air yards (good)
2.19 yards per route run (good)
12.0 ppr per game (meh)
