WR Ricky Pearsall, SF (10 Viewers)

But I need the home run. I don't think the other two have it in them.
Burden most definitely has it in him. He is electric with the ball in his hands and Chi is starting to scheme him targets. All it takes is him to break one and it's a big game. I would be more confident in Burden than Pearsall at this point.
That's true that he had that one game. The matchup is very tough if Cleveland decides they want to play this week.
that's one more than Pearsall since he has been back. Pearsall just isn't getting the looks. Burden is.

Yep, not sure if he isn't totally healthy, is on Shanny's bad side or what but it's just not happening for Pearsall.

Coach Yac
Ricky Pearsall on his struggles:

“Just handling what I can and controlling what I can control. That’s always my mindset. As soon as I start worrying about the other things that’s when you’re gonna drive yourself nuts. Just knowing what I can control and for me it’s being available when I can for Brock Purdy. Showing up on 3rd downs and making plays when the ball comes my way. Ultimately, at the end of the day, if I see a 'W' on the board, that’s all that matters. I don’t care about stats.”

Perfect quote as I head into my fantasy playoffs ..

Took bowers time to get over that injury and he had it 3 weeks sooner i think

So we thinking he's over it now or still sore?

Pearsall wakes up this week. 50+ yds and a TD.

Book it!
I could see it. I still believe he's been being eased back in, and that any moment he could start getting the targets again.

Interestingly, his first week back I pointed out that his projection in our CBS league was only around 2. I wondered if they had good reason to believe that. I think it was quite low again last week. Now this week, it's 10.8.

Sitting in waivers. Want to find a way to pick him up tmrw just in case he awakens and then start him next week.

@49ersSportsTalk:

🔥📈 The Rise of Slick Rick is coming

The #49ers plan to utilize WR Ricky Pearsall more in their offense going forward & leverage him during their playoff push.

HC Kyle Shanahan admitted they’ve been this close to connecting on big plays the last few weeks:

“Ricky’s game against Carolina, we just missed a very open post, which would have been a 50 yard TD. It ended up being an INT. We also missed him on a 50 yard dagger. He would have had about 3 catches for a 100 yards & 2 TDS in that game.”

@LombardiHimself:

Ricky Pearsall was at 2.27 YPRR Wks 1-4, in upper echelon of NFL WRs. It's obvious that rhythm between him and Purdy builds over extended stretches — expect that rhythm to click soon just like it did last year and early this season.

“soon” may come at the expense of an early exit.

As someone who has been holding him all year through the injury, has a bye this week and may have potentially lost Tee Higgins, I could really use a breakout tomorrow that would allow me to start him with confidence next week in the semis

I'm actually leaning towards starting Pearsall over Woody Marks, Ken Walker, and Monanghai tomorrow in the first leg of a week 15 -17 cumulative score playoffs where I'm competing with almost 1400 teams. I still think Pearsall is really talented. First game back against Arizona, he was coming off an injury. Against Carolina, Brock was really bad. Last week, game script was not in his favor, but yeah, was still a disappointing result for Pearsall. Looking for maximum upside in this format and I still believe in Pearsall's talent. And although game script may not be in his favor again, Titans are still a great matchup.

I wouldn’t start him over Marks. Guy is going to smash against Arizona. I’m hopeful Pearsall will bust out but Marks has that backfield to himself

Right. I've been flipping between the two in my lineup, and in a normal 12 team playoff, I would start Marks, and not think twice. However, while the Cardinals have been awful against the run the last month or so, they've also been playing against some of the better run blocking offensive lines of late, and the Cardinals may get back rookie DT Walter Nolen. If Nolen is active, I'm playing Pearsall. However, all that changes if CMC and/or Davante, who both seem probable in my lineup right now, are downgraded before the 1:00 PM kickoffs.

Nah, that’s not going to happen until I drop him
