WR-Steve Johnson-BUF (1 Viewer)

I'm sure even the great Jerry Rice has dropped one like that a time or two. Nobody's perfect. Dude needs to get over it. $h#@ happens. As for the God angle, maybe someone thought someone else needed a little humbling.

so God caused him to miss the pass ? LOL, ok. Do people really think God controlls their every move ? This is the opposite of free will.
The concept of a deity is the opposite of free will. Be careful what you LOL at.
FAIL. But this is definitely not a discussion suitable for the SP.
Agreed, as far as it not being suitable. But the concept of one creating another with free will, then judging them based on his or her own (creator's) biased standards falls outside of the scientific definition of logic. But, as you said, not suitable. So I'm done.

I've seriously been waiting all my life for an athlete to come out and say something like this after a costly screw-up.

From Comedy Central Presents Jeff Stilson

* I'm trying to wean myself off sports, it's too time consuming. I don't watch football anymore, I gave that up. I got tired of the interviews after the games, because the winning players always give credit to God, and the losers blame themselves. You know, just once I'd like to hear a player say, 'Yeah, we were in the game, until Jesus made me fumble. He hates our team.'

Steve Johnson may be the NFL's version of Dennis Rodman.

He's weird, but he has put up some big-time numbers for my squad. I think he gets past this and has a monster close-out to the season.

I thought it was common knowledge God hates the Bills?
:goodposting: Right on the money... go back to the BUF vs NYG Super Bowl... final play, Bills line up for the FG attempt, one sideline holding hands praying in unison that he makes it, the other doing the same praying that he misses... pretty clear who the "big guy" has it in for. :)

Agree with you agreeing it's not suitable. You should have stopped there. :banned:
