Thornton looks like a potential steal. Royals is maybe a little further ahead of the typical rookie, but we'll know much more at training camp.

LOL. Thornton looked like a first team All Pro every minicamp in NE. He looks great in shorts. Then when pads come on he disappears. He was usually tabbed as a potential WR1 for the Pats and did pretty much nothing when the actual games started.Charles Goldman

Tyquan Thornton’s big play ability already making a key impact for the #Chiefs. Huge grab to help KC pull within a score.
Do we have an idea how long worthy will be out?Does he take Worthy’s spot?
3-6 weeks or the year depending on surgery or not ..Do we have an idea how long worthy will be out?Does he take Worthy’s spot?

Pure speculation on the type of injury and dislocation. If the labrum is torn and completely out of socket then surgery and rehab for 4-6 months ending his season but if everything is intact then 4-6 weeks with rest and rehab to strengthen the shoulder.Link?3-6 weeks or the year depending on surgery or not ..Do we have an idea how long worthy will be out?Does he take Worthy’s spot?
Was curious because you put zero chance he could return in 1-2 weeks. KC doesn't play again for 10 days.Pure speculation on the type of injury and dislocation. Tyquan Thornton has become a key piece of Patrick Mahomes and the #Chiefs’ offense. They saw it in training camp, and he’s making the most of his opportunity. Still a young player with tons of upside — it didn’t work out in New England, but he’s thriving now and it’s cool to see.

he has a 25.2 aDOT. The next closest player with 15+ targets is Malik Nabers with a 19.6 aDOT
The Chiefs passing game would be very boring without him
Probably another three weeks would be my guess. He definitely looks like the guy to own in KC. How long that lasts is anyone’s guess.

When Rice and Worthy both healthy playing in couple weeks, Thornton becomes a bench stash only.
Can't spell windows without win.Probably another three weeks would be my guess. He definitely looks like the guy to own in KC. How long that lasts is anyone’s guess.
Mahomes looks like he trusts him. He’s getting a few of his patented 50/50 YOLO balls a game now.He definitely looks like the guy to own in KC. How long that lasts is anyone’s guess.

I think he's earned the deep shot role for good. Rice > JuJu's snaps, Worthy > Brown's snaps, Thornton retaining his role and we might see an explosive offense if play calling permits.Mahomes looks like he trusts him. He got at least two that traveled fifty air yards by my count on Sunday night. I mean, Patty just chucked them right up into blanketed single coverage. Tyquan won both. One was incomplete in the end. So I overbid for him. I don't care. I was slow drafting while I traveled from San Francisco to Los Angeles and then I got sick for a day and a half. I wound up with Stefon Diggs way, way too early and then I also had Khalil Shakir. Both are pretty much useless if you want to win a title. I bid 31 out of my 100 FAAB for Tyquan. I'd already spent 4 and then 1 for a D/ST this week and now I've got 64 left. Okay. I can live with it. Let's go, Tyquan! I put my quid where my mouth was.
worthy is lucky to make it to the half before re-injuring that shoulder…risk of reinjury is incredibly highI have to start this guy since Evans is out. So I'm holding for now but could definitely understand dropping. Thornton's role has to take a hit with Worthy back.
He feels like the MVS of the team now
That's a lot of words and I have no clue what you're sayingHe feels like the MVS of the team now
It’s strange. There are a lot of authoritative comments about this guy and his role by people, who, if i may say something and I scrap a lot but I usually don’t say something like this, don’t seem to know **** from shinola.
This does not mean he’s definitely going to keep his route share and score fantasy points but I’ve seen very few people (there have been some) understand basic **** about KC and who will likely run certain types of routes.
I can’t guarantee a thing so I won’t push it, but there are a whole host of people who don’t know the first thing and should let uncertainty be their default position.
So weird to see it.
No doubt. I’m talking about pundits and industry guys. I wouldn’t get on anyone here about doing that. The coaches aren't posting here and they're the only ones that know for sure. So we're all just discussing range of outcomes in every thread. I would think most forum members understand this and don't take individual opinions as certainties.

With Lamb out I have to pick between Thornton and DoubsOutside of Rice and Worthy, trying to pick which Chiefs or which Packers wr to play is an evil I wish on no man.
I'd go Thornton. Higher upside if he does stick to his role.. We already know what Doubts offers. With Lamb out I have to pick between Thornton and DoubsOutside of Rice and Worthy, trying to pick which Chiefs or which Packers wr to play is an evil I wish on no man.![]()
