WR Tyreek Hill, MIA (5 Viewers)

If you need that in every post then there is just no helping you.
No worries...I get it.... just felt he needed to be called out on spit balling complete inaccuracies like they are the truth or some indictment on the Chiefs as a franchise....if you just throw out opinions based on zero facts and complete speculation and inaccuracies, you should expected to be called out on it.....that is also part of a message board....

That's not a fact so I really think you should have prefaced this with "IMO".

And Hunt was involved in two other instances as well.
Yeah...and he has yet to be charged for anything.....lots of NFL players are involved in “incidents”.....or “instances”...

you didn't say IMO. so you post was fact?  you seem to contradict yourself a lot.
Again IMO....please block/ignore me....then maybe you can focus on bringing something worthwhile about Hill to the rest of the thread....

par for the course for him
Thanks. I dont usually interact much.

Let me add to the public what I can add fo those that aren't so tough.

With police reports being separate then child services cases I am not sure how police operate.  I would think if Hill was not listed on the report the police wouldn't be investigating him, but this is an assumption.

We (child services) work collaboration with police in physical abuse cases frequently.  If it is similar to how child services operates in Indiana, he should have been on the police report if there was a chance he abused his child or fiance.

In some of these cases when no one admits to physically abusing child, child services would substantiate (find allegations to be true) against all parties in household.  This is when the pediatricians confirm to child services the injury was inflicted.  Child services would then ensure the child is safe by subbing on both all parties in that household.

.  he should have been on the police report if there was a chance he abused his child or fiance.
This seems to be a point of confusion which seems odd since it should be pretty easy to clarify but I honestly don't know. I wanted to believe that since his name was not on that police report dated March 15th he was in the clear but I've read from a few places that what we saw was just the cover page for the report. Again I have no idea, one of the sources for this info that we just saw the cover page and not the whole report was a writer from the KC Star so seemed believable.

I realize that post is based on absolutley nothing more than your opinion and speculation....you have no proof to back up any of the things you said in your post.  It sounds like you are a bitter Bronco/Raider/or Charger fan or something.  The Chiefs were aware that Hunt was involved in some incidents but he was never charged with anything and admitted lying to them only after the video came out.  They immediately cut Hunt as soon as he admitted to lying to them and the video coming out. You sound really bitter like you hate the Chiefs franchise or something.  But all you doing is spewing your personal opinions and speculation.  You reallly  have no idea what the Chiefs knew or didn’t  know.
Common sense would tell anyone that’s what happened. Sometimes you have to think a bit. Him lying didn’t change anything except they may have cut him earlier.

If Tyreek's still out of the country that would explain the case still being open. They are waiting to speak to him.

[Rapoport] From Up to the Minute Live: The NFL is not expected to weigh in on possible discipline for #Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill until child protective services concludes their investigation.

Maybe I'm overreacting and certainly not out of the woods yet but this workout video along with comments he made in the video have me feeling as good about his availability next year as I've been since this story broke. https://247sports.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/Article/Tyreek-Hill-workout-video-YouTube-130809203/
so if he thought he may be found guilty would he be doing something different? I see it as a positive attitude but I do not see it as any sort of sign as to which way this thing is going. I would expect him to be working out for the season until he knows otherwise. I do agree it likely means nobody ruled against him yet but I think the investigation is still on going. He has to portray being innocent whether he is or not

I was pretty clear in saying he's not out of the woods. No one said he's been found not guilty.

You asked if he may be found guilty would he be doing something different? I'd say he was doing something different since the investigation started because he immediately ceased all social media activity and went into what to me appeared to be hiding. This marks a break from a that and that along with some of the comments he made, and a sense a I got of a guy with no concerns other then preparing himself for the upcoming season are things I absolutely take as an extremely positive developments. So you say he's going to portray being innocent regardless but he's done nothing like that until this video. This to me marks a significant change and legally I've never been more positive of how this is going to work out for him. If he is cleared legally he still has to clear the NFL investigation hurdle which seems more along the lines of you are guilty until proven innocent and for his longterm value he'll take a hit if KC decides this was all to much for them and don't want to extend him but safe to say my worries about season or career being over have decreased to what I'd term very minimal.

you may very well be correct but you are just making a best guess from a video posted by a guy that I wouldn't call exactly normal in the first place. I'm not sure anything has really changed at all myself

You keep acting like I"m making some kind of definitive proclamation. I'm not guessing or making any such proclamation.  I simply said that video had me more positive about his chances of being available to play in 2019 then anything that has happened since this began and due to that I took this a positive development.  I find it hard to believe that video did not make you at least a little more positive about his outlook vs the total lack of silence from him we've got to this point but if you say so.

I'm not taking in sides in this argument, but I would feel even better if instead of posting an IG of himself working out, he addressed the issue, said he knew how serious it was, and forthrightly looked at the camera and proclaimed innocence. Then again, his counsel has probably told him not to talk about the issue if his counsel knows what they're doing, so that would be a pipe dream.

This is such an ugly situation.

i wasn't trying to argue, just saying the video did not have any positive impact to me on his chances. I'm thinking there are people on both sides of that thought. That is all I was trying to say

I'm not really looking at this as an argument just trying to clarify that I think you are taking what I'm saying all wrong. Seeing something as a positive, as I do and understand you don't, was not the same thing to me as saying I'm just running with this video like it's all good and he's in the clear.  Just saying after an almost 3 week investigation where we have got nothing but stone cold silence from Hill I found it encouraging that after we've advanced a few weeks in the investigation he put out a video like nothing is up and just prepping for the season. I get you don't take any positive from that, I do,  but don't confuse me feeling more positive about his situations as popping champagne thinking all systems go. You say people see this from both sides. Are you saying people take that workout video as a negative? Because that's the other side of what I'm talking about.

I'm not saying it is a negative, just saying it doesn't make a bit of difference of me on how this whole thing works out. I view it as a non event. Something he'd be doing regardless of the child abuse case. He could just be blocking out the case and focusing on training and ignoring a  bad situation developing because he can't do anything about it. So no I don't view it as a negative, but I don't view it as a positive either.

@Aunt Jemima, @menobrown

You guys sound like my 10 and 8 year old arguing. Here’s a tip, nobody here cares who is “right” or who said what. If you want to resolve your dispute pm each other. The arguing on this forum is out of control. Mostly about nothing too.

You guys weren't that bad to me, anyway. It's actually information to glean about how people view it and why.
Honestly it's what a forum was intended to for IMO, an exchange of information and opinions. Maybe proper tone does not always come across but if I was in an argument I was the last person to know. I've been in a league with Aunt Jemima for 7 years, a league he's had way more success then me, and I consider him one of the better players in this hobby.  Respect him. Neither of us were insulting and I don't think either of us would even label the other's opinions as wrong so much as we just did not have the same takeaway. Almost  every posts since I posted that link was simply clarifying the difference between taking positive out of that video vs thinking we were all clear. Really not a big deal and saw zero reason for someone to fill the need to play forum police but appreciate your comment.

Being a track fan (my first sport) Tyreek Hill is the one footballer where when a TV guy says..."he has world class speed"....he's telling the truth.  No on Ted Ginn, Marquize Goodwin etc etc. If not for football Hill would be in the Olympic USA mix at 200m, a 20.14 in HS.....wow! What he has that is rare to football players is speed endurance/long range jets.

Anyway......

Hill is one of my favorite players and I'm really hoping  this situation isn't what it appears to be. If he did hurt a child then take him out and....BOOM! But, really hope it isn't true.

Not my favorite player ...but same here. we've had enough of this. I, as a fan have at least.

Not real sure how to say this without being rude, but.......he does appear a bit a....awkward?  I can see a private life with a lot of chaos and turmoil.

Ok

The guy doesn't seem too bright, easy to see a life of chaos and turmoil.
