WR Tyreek Hill, MIA (2 Viewers)

This could be a big deal:

Tyreek's ailment is hip. Not seen today in locker room. Didn't practice. Tua said we will see Hill again "down the line"..McDaniel speaks before practice, so this didn't come up today. Mostert (ankle), Rob Jones (personal), Holland (concussion), Ingold (foot) also didn't practice
I was initially a little skeptical, just because those quotes always end up getting taken out of context to sound way more significant than they are. But Rapaport is saying there's a real chance he misses this week
Whew. If rapport is saying that Hill is for sure playing this week.
Oh man even with a 50/50 chance Ian Crapapport was wrong again.

How does this guy stay employed?

I’m probably just high on copium, but I’d love to find out that this is McD giving hoodie a taste of his own medicine by messing with the injury report. Would inhibit the time tested strategy of game planning around the biggest threat.

Putting it out into the universe.
Sounds like a great call.

Tyreek Hill - Right Hip, Probable

NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reports Tyreek Hill “will be full go” for the Dolphins Week 8 matchup against the Patriots.
According to Wolfe, Hill had “minor” treatment on his hip, but this injury isn’t expected to sideline him on Sunday. Hill returned to practice on Thursday and was put through a normal workout, and will presumably be on the field again on Friday. Fantasy managers can start Hill as a top-12 option this week, as he looks to improve on the 5-40-1 outing he had in Week 2.

Maybe Miami was trolling us FF players:

>>As for Hill, he looked the past two days like nothing was wrong, in the process erasing concerns that always come with a speedy wide receiver dealing with a hip injury.

"He's done well, and we were very proactive," McDaniel said. It'd be like, would you run on E if you had a Ferrari? You'd probably make sure it had gas, take care of it on the front end. You know, emissions check would be something you'd get done early. So our proactive work proved to get very well served yesterday. He had a phenomenal practice. And I expect him to be full Tyreek energy today."<<

Yep, he is about to go Oppenheimer.

He’s about to unleash 3 hours of boring dialogue?

No, he is going to read Bhagavad Gita while having sexual relations.

My 3rd grade teacher wasn't like Ms. Martinez. The way she uses Tyreek's goal of 2,000 yards to teach math and life lessons is awesome.

I'll be that guy. Cold water. Mary isn't teaching them about Tyreek's off-field stuff, is she? Life lessons?

Hoo baby.

On the plus side, Tyreek is bananas.
Yeah, I kind of thought the same thing. Maybe not the best player to use as an example in class but then again neither is Andrew Jackson or Thomas Jefferson but there is something to be learned from all people, good or bad.

I had a long response typed out, but it's too late/early fo that.

lol waaaaay too early here but it was a long week, my wife is out of town and I fell asleep at like 8:30 last night so 5 AM currently feels like 9 AM to me.

I stayed up the other night to finish a class assignment and slept all day, so I'm like tired/wired out here on the West Coast.

The West. Is the best.

lol I don't even know where I live. Is Michigan the midwest? Is it the east? I guess there should be a whole other category called the Great Lakes?

Is Michigan the midwest

I'd say this is the easiest shorthand, but for culture's sake I like the Great Lakes region better. Nice work.
Maybe I am influenced too much by living in the metro Detroit area and if I lived outside of Michigan's one true major metro, I would see things differently but I just do not feel any connection to Kansas, Nebraska, Dakotas, Iowa or even Indiana.

Enjoy what you're watching. There might never be another one like him. Steve Smith with more speed. He has it all and he makes defenders look silly every single week. Even after all these years, all this production, he is STILL surprising defenders with his acceleration with the ball in his hands. I own zero shares of this guy, but he's so fun to watch.

I am disappointed in Hill this week......only got 8 receptions for 112 yards and a score. :D

I am amazed at how open he gets. He's the fastest guy in the league, but runs the full route tree. The TD yesterday was just a thing of beauty......Hill just runs past everyone and Tua drops a perfect pass. And if you don't want to get beat deep, then Hill beats you from a death by a thousand cuts......8 yds here, 15 yards there, 25 yards here, and all of sudden, Hill is at 10 receptions 150 yards and 1-2 TDs.

Will be a 1st ballot HOFer. Might be the most fun player to watch in the NFL.
