I know Iam not the only one on here with this issue, but what is going on with all these Wr's having the best matchups example Steve Smith vs Tampa this week and Greg Jennings vs Detroit, and last week Desean Jackson against Tampa only to put up 1-5 points! Is there any logic I'am missing here we all know the dont bench your studs rule and if the matchup is right you should plug him in well apparently thats not working this year, I know this year has been crazy for fantasy football. But if anyone out there has any insight on what they are seeing this year with Wr1's being out shined by Wr's 2-3's let me know.

Oh yeah another reason Iam pissed is because every poster and so called fantasy expert or guru said that Hasselback over Shaub was the smart play this week WTF!

Here's a little secret for you: We're all guessing. Some people are lucky enough to get paid for guessing.

With any of this stuff, it's impossible to be right anywhere near all the time. The goal is just to play the percentages and be right a few percent more of the time than everyone else.Interestingly, none of the research I've seen has shown that WRs do any better matched against teams with bad pass defense. QBs and RBs on the other hand, do put up significantly better numbers when matched against bad pass defense (for QBs) and bad run defense (for RBs).

WR is one position I rarely play the matchups on. The position is just far too random for it to work IMO. Of course there are some exceptions like NE playing vs. Tenn's 3rd stringers due to injury.
