Was really hoping Jacobs would have fell to my last pick, but, even without, I can't pull the trigger at the RB I like here

So I go with a big injury risk, but a very productive player when healthy

Call it what you want...a boom or bust pick...a hit or miss...

But the upside is just so good.

If he continues to back up Tomlinson (a real Giant fan will never use the initials for Tomlinson; even a real football fan should know better - but that's a whole other story) - then this pick stinks. I am aware of that.

If he gets traded (whether it is before or after being tendered) and gets a starting gig somewhere like with the Jets - then I love this pick. While I trecognize that it is easier to get a decent RB in the draft than it is for other positions - I still think this guy has shown a ton. (Whereas obviously a rookie RB has shown nothing on the NFL level, may even bust, or may become great but after a couple years of NFL experience.)

Thus, I am hoping at least one NFL team decides the price tag is worth it.

(And yes, perhaps I am talking myself into the pick.)

Here goes...

5.11: RB- Michael Turner

If nothing else - you gotta love a pick that could go in so many different directions.

This could end up being THE pick of the draft (if he becomes a true starter in 07). Or it could just as easily be the WORST pick of the draft (if he continues to get only 6 carries a game). (Or anywhere in between.)

He shares the same bye week as Kevin Jones, but I can't pass on the upside.

These WSLs many times will come down to bye week issues, so I'm really crossing fingers this doesn't come back to bite me.
