BassNBrew and Family Matters are once again holding onto a picklist for 3.08 in case I'm out of pocket when my turn comes around--thanks, guys!

3.01 Anquan Boldinpm to Ruds
larger gap between he and Fitz than I expected
I still see Fitz and Boldin as WR 1a\1b. Boldin will have more receptions, Fitz more TD's.in any case, definitely happy to have him as my WR2
The concern I would have, albeit a small one, would be how much they try and "push" the run game.I still think they're a passing team and both WRs will be Top 10-15 receivers.

3.04 Donald Driver WR, GB

PMing next
This was my other option, but I didn't like all the drops. Took him 34 extra targets to catch 10 more balls than Evans.Still a solid pick, especially if QB is stable.
Driver's stats have been real consistent the past 3 years. I was looking at other options at this pick and decided to go with his consistency. I figure I can count on 80 - 1200 with 8 TDs from him.

I wouldn't count on any of that if Favre retires.as for Colston over Evans...I just liked the Saints offense more, along with him playing in a dome, having Drew Brees at QB, and having Deuce and Reggie to draw attention away. Hoping Colston can produce like the Colts WRs have been able to in one of the league's best passing attacks. But, Evans would have been a nice choice as well given his ability to put up a lot of receptions AND stretch the field with big plays. There were lots of WRs of similar ability/value out there, which is why I went QB in round 2. Hoping Colston doesn't pull a Michael Clayton on me and bust in year 2.

As a Saints homer, I don't see much chance of this happening. With a QB as good as Brees on board, and his absolute man-love for Colston, the targets are going to keep coming. Horn appears likely to be gone next year, as I heard him say on a radio show that 1) he could have played vs. Chicago, but Payton wouldn't let him; and 2) that he would not renegotiate his current deal. Unless Colston's great hands suddenly disappear, I think last year's numbers are an absolute floor (recall he missed several games late in the season).

I won't talk too much about other players and such as it is bad form, but I will point out a difference that I saw for Lee Evans - he's the clear primary target in Buffalo and there's not much competition for his targets. Also there's no big receiver out of the backfield like Colston has w/ Reggie Bush.

people are worried about colston no doubt, aruds and I got him at about the same spot. I dont think he'll bust like clayton, totally different siutations at QB/RB etc. He should see a modest drop in production, but personally I think Aaron & I got steals.

before Colston's injury, he was leading the league in receiving yards...with a healthy Joe Horn AND the presence of Reggie. he's got the size to be a much better red zone target, and I expect the Saints offense to throw a lot more, for a lot more yards, and for a lot more TDs than the Bills so there's a much bigger pie to divide up.

sorta wanted walker but some you win, some you lose......maybe i'll return the favor jeter!!!!!

Andre Johnson WR

somebody has glumpy...i'll look to see

If anyone in front of me wants to shoot me a PM while we wait for OM, go ahead. I will be checking in periodically over the next 3 or 4 hours.

Going to have to go a different direction here!!

Family Matters selects:

3.16 L.Jordan-RB, OAK

4.1 D. McNabb-QB, Philly

The year before, Jordan was a top 10 in this format. I think he's a steal at 3.16 and he 24th RB off the board.

McNabb was leading the league in QB scoring before his injury so I like him as the 4th QB off the board.

Back to you Bri.
