WSL 2 Draft Thread (1 Viewer)

7.13 Bernard Berrian

Can someone handle the pm? I'm on my Pda.
8.4 JP LOSMAN, QB, BUFFALO BILLS
Unreal.....targeting two guys for my next pick an Thom gets them both!!!sob!
:kicksrock: Berrian will team up with Steve Smith and Reggie Wayne to form the heart of my team.

Losman should be an adequate backup. The lightbulb seemed to go off at the end of the year for him.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: either you got that backwards or you just :hot: yourself. Either way - :lmao:
 :wall:

Good to see this thread at 3 pages - nice to have some banter.

BTW - Everyone cool with a clock shutdown Friday night until Monday AM for SB weekend?

You can still pick, but no obligation.

Works for me. I will be out of pocket on Saturday, and on Sunday night.

8.07 Brandon Marshall
This is one of those picks that make this draft difficult. Rumors abound that R. Smith will become the #3 thus leaving Marshall the #2. But that doesn't mean Marshall will outperform Smith. There isn't enough evidence to suggest anything. Based on the last few games MArshall's numbers improved but not to the point where I was impressed. So maybe he does become a solid #2. From my point of view he's not much safer than a rookie pick at this stage. I like Marshall and feel he will become a solid player and I hope it works out for Bloom but I've got my reservations at this point.

But like I said that's what makes this draft unique. That and unkown byes and the fact the draft, free agency and coaching changes haven't occurred. Other than that it's pretty normal.

Pickings are getting slim fer shoor....

8.09 RB Mike Bell, Den

PM'n Duke
This could be the best late round RB pick in terms of value. A possible 800+ yard back with 8+ TD's. You may have the best collection of back ups in this draft. And together they may outproduce my starters most games.

Did anyone else feel "weird" yesterday?

Didn't feel like Sunday.... then it hit me. I wasn't watching ANY football. First time in months.

I felt sick.

I don't like February.

I'd rather just not draft on Sunday, otherwise I'll check in 800 times to see if I'm up and make sure I'm not holding things up.

dirtyhalos,

draft rookies with every pick from here on out. Bloom won't notice that there's anything wrong with that.

Dominic Rhodes RB Indy

as to stopping the clock this weekend, i would be more incline to just stop it Sunday.

PMing next

Thanks Duke! Awfully sorry for the delay guys--I knew I was behind the 8-ball this weekend and have been trying to prepick throughout this draft but hoped I'd have this chance to log on before my pick. Duke's got my thoughts for the next one if you could pm both of us; I'll have my next chance to get online tomorrow circa 09:00.
how's the moving going? wish the doorways were 6 feet wide yet?
lol--just got to reading through the thread to see this....after having to tear out one doorway yesterday! It's going ok now that the water's fixed--might stay there some this weekend.

Well, both Rube and McNair went, so I have to go another route. Such is life in a 16-teamer.

I'll go for a big play WR instead.

Antonio Bryant WR, SF
