No, not at all. It's stragetic. This is a Survivior League. What better way to eliminate your competition than for them to take a 0 at defense or kicker.

Ironically, this is the team I probably would have taken even three rounds ago if I'd taken a 2nd DEF. They had 30 takeaways last year (T-10). I think Bly leaving will be a good thing since they're running Cover 2 now (and free up some cash) and they're saying the right things about pursuing quality linebackers...

That, and Cleveland or nothing are my only other options at this point.

Damon Huard, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

I changed this pick back and forth between three guys (QB, RB, WR) several times.

Huard has a good shot at starting in Kansas City next year - I'm assuming that 1) Green is done in KC based on age, mileage and poor play last year, 2) KC doesn't get someone in FA to start (ie Carr), and 3) they resign Huard to lead the team in '07 and mentor Brodie Croyle for '08 or late in the season.

Half of the games Huard started last year could have been a high QB score for a team in this format. I feel good with McNabb and Jakey, but more times than not you are going to get your top score from the QB position... so there you go.
