I would have been happy with any of the previous guys as my WR1. Problem now is there won't be much left in 30 more picks. So I'm going to have to go with:

3.01 WR Donald Driver

IMO the most stable WR left. If Favre doesn't retire of course

Back in a few to update the thread.

I couldn't get near this guy in the top 15-18 WR picks this year....too much up in the air. He was top ten last year but with a new, crappy QB he could easily land outside the top 25.

I actually had 2 other names typed in at points, but with LT on board, I can probably afford to take the chance. No way either of the others make it back, but there's about 10-15 WRs at this point who could fill the next group. Plus I can probably afford to skip RBs now. In a perfect world I would have gone WR/WR here. The fun is starting this round

Bass is up, Fids has Twiights pick and sniffer is hopefully not too far off. I may shoot a PM to someone if we don't move in the next 20 mins though.

Anyone gonna be around for a bit tonight?

edit: we're all here now. nice.

Absolutely torn on two players here and probably should be conservative and take the RB. That said, how can you argue with a guy who finishes ranked #9 coming off major knee reconstruction, a rookie QB, and changing teams. No one has ever accomplished that before. Two years prior he was the #3 WR. I can't pass on the points a top five WR will put up. That said, I'll be kicking myself every round from here on out as I see WR value fall.

3.2 Javon Walker

RB: SJax

WR: Owens, Walker

I love this pick. Cutler and him seemed to really start clicking down the strech.

link? That really was my only concern. figure a pre-season would resolve those issues.

wihtout looking at stats,I think he scored twice on nice long bombs in the last three weeks. I know he laid up a stinker vs. SF in week17.

this pick has me nervous. I really wanted to take a RB here, but there is too much risk with him. Had my eye on one WR, and he's still here, if there is one thing I know about Mr. Drew Brees is that he locks onto receivers, and another offseason should only help. True he fell off with the high ankle sprain, but I'll take:

Marques Colston - WR - NO Saints wish this was yahoo, he'd be sweet at TE

Nice pick, I thought Walker would be gone and he'd land on my team.

3.05 Ahman Green

missed two games last year, still had 1400+ combined, 6TD, and 46 catches. If he can keep that pace this year, I'll be happy. A lot in flux in Green Bay, though. we'll see.

thx, a little worried that things might not fall right for the saints next year, but he should still produce. at wr12 he's worth the gamble

Wanted to throw something out for discussion regarding QBs (figured we're all seasoned vets here). Last year I rolled the entire year with only BigBen and Batch on my roster and won the WSL scoring title. Rudy won the WSL2 title with Manning and Delhomme and finished 3rd in WSL scoring. Interesting extremes that produced very good results.

3.6 Andre Johnson
I would like to say that this pick sucks, but I don't want to pick a fight with the guy who made Lhucks his biacht.
Lol, It's cool man! Opinions, and trash talk are always welcome. Question marks everywhere right now, but Johnson pulled in 100+ last year with Carr at the helm. Even if he drops to the 75-85 range, I'm cool with that considering what's out there, and that he's my WR2. I think they will upgrade the Qb spot. How much they upgrade is another story, but we'll see.

Three table pounding buys out there. one specifically at WR.

LOVE this pick. I'm a Saints fan -- Horn is as good as gone, and this guy is the real deal. TO-like size and strength, nice speed, and solid hands.

I TOO wanted Colston and predicted I'd need some help for him to fall. If not Colston, I wanted PLAX in the post-Tiki offense... Guess neither is happening.. Back to the drawing board!

3.11: WR- TJ Houshmandzadeh

:X Here's hoping for an early Cincy bye week.

I just like him that much better than the other WRs.

Will PM Frank Black.

3.13 DeAngelo Williams RB CAR

After the season Foster had, one would think this kid will have a monster year next season. He looked very impressive to me.

1.13 Kevin Jones

2.4 Chad Johnson

3.13 DeAngelo Williams

Not really sure why he's lagging 2 rounds behind Maroney. You got a stud WR and 2 starting RBS...nice job.

Bass did Carolina hire an OC yet? I know they fired Henning.

Foster's YPC was 4.0. Williams was 4.1. How was Williams anymore effective than Foster? I know it's the general feeling but reality says they were even.
