Sorry for the delay, I had to pick my daughter up from work. It is snowing again. :(

Huge draft day today guys...we're now almost a full round ahead of 1! :deadhorse:
Pissed that I got promoted to the slacker league.
Don't worry. Given your picks in WSL 1, I'm sure you'll be making the appropriate move next season. :porked:
Hmmm...seem to recall that same description of my draft last year when I smoked both leagues for the point title.
I did well in points too but are these survivor leagues or TP leagues? 4th in total points didn't do me much good for staying in WSL 1 this year when my first four picks all had a week 3 bye. I actually agree, especially with the WSLs, that you need some breaks for the bye weeks to fall the right way for you. But, most would agree as well that one should draft completely differently if the goal was to maximize total points versus year long survival. Maybe, we should move the WSLs to total points given the uncertainty of the bye weeks in the future. Or have a different kind of WSL. That said, your point is well taken and I don't necessarily disagree with it. It's just that it didn't work out very well for me last year if I was booted after week 3 despite a decent total points score.

Well I finished second in the head to head competition and second in week 16/17 scoring among the four remaining finalists from the two leagues. In other words I drafted for both aspects.I'm very happy with my team this year...assuming they aren't drawing pensions by the time league 1 finishes drafting.

Good luck with that.

How is it possible to draft for week 16+17 if the schedule is not out?

I'm out of pocket--likely for the weekend. If everyone could page Duke when I'm up he can reach me via cell.

tx

Works for me. I will be out of pocket all day on Saturday. I will PM a short list to someone before I leave tonight, but right now I don't have a clue what I want to do with my next pick.

Have we made a decision on Sat/Sun yet as far as the clock goes?
Personally I think clock being off all day Sat and Sun is the best way to go, with picks obviously encouraged.
I'm ok with this - we're flying.Personally I'd love to wrap it today / Sat, but I dont' know if that is possible.
I'm outta here for a few hours, but hopefully we get to Round 17 or 18 today. If you're gone for the weekend and comfortable with it, find someone to cover for you - Wannabee is taking a list in WSL3 if you need to drop a list for last 2-3 picks.I'll be around as well and wouldn't mind ending this soon.Either way - been a solid group and a nice draft.(wake up Radballs  )

Put simply, we rule.We should be the first people contacted for any future message board drafts

Sorry...late start this morning. Didn't really want to take a kicker but nobody else really excites me here.

So, like a sheep, I'll follow the run.
