Apologies if people think this should be in the Asst forum, but there seems to be a lot of options this week at RB's who are getting a chance to start this week due to injuries. Bye weeks are taking away starting spots and now injuries. It might be a help to some of us (me included) to get an idea who might be good to go after.

Benson goes down in GB and that leaves a starting spot open for either Green or Starks.

Brown is down for a couple weeks and that leaves Ballard as the starter for now.

Williams goes down in Arizona leaving the spot open to Powell or LSH.

Who does the Shark Pool think could be the right FA to go after?

Man this list is so much better than last week, I started James Casey (who actually did pretty well in a 0.5 PPR) over Dan Thomas, Bil Powell and Turbin.

Count your blessings.

I kind of think Best belongs in his own category.

Out of the rest if I had to pick someone it would be Green. Good offense meets draft pick investment plus potential and low expectations.

I like Ballard, if he can put together 2-3 good games in the 2-3 weeks that Brown sits he could take over the starting job. It's no secret to the coaches that Brown isn't a solution at the position by any means.

Best isn't even playing this week so good luck for him having the most success for Week 6.

Other committee options not listed in the poll including Alfonso Smith, Mewelde Moore, Delone Carter, Brandon Saine and David Wilson.

Everybody's favorite goal line vulture John Kuhn will outscore them all!

I'm pretty sure he can't be eligible to play until Week 7 or 8. That's when you can be taken off the PUP list?

Added Jahvid Best who is comming back after injury. He might be a good option too.
I was following the advice of another poster. But he's out there in a bunch of leagues so I figued he could be added to the list.I think this list will look a lot different after this week. I think either the guys who get the chance first are going to shine or are going to completely bust and we'll have names on here like M.Moore, Alfonso Smith and maybe even Kuhn...

Powell vs. BUF.
I'm surprised this isn't getting more votes. Especially if it's just a one week filler. You have a weak Bills D that is giving up a lot and if Powell looks good that game he's assured to get the start again the following week. The guy looked great in the preseason. Maybe he's the next Cruz. All he needs is an opportunity and he's getting it this week.

Couple of problems with him. First and foremost is the OL. It is as advertised in being putrid.Secondly William Powell himself barely played in college and was often injured and he left last weeks game with an injury. I really believe that Cardinals are just waiting for Hightower to get healthy and then will sign him. He appearently is 2 weeks away from being ready.Could Powell seize this opportunity and run with it? Perhaps but he is facing a lot of obstacles.

I think the late breaking news about Brown is clouding peoples judgement here. IMO, Green should easily be the top pick here. Benson is out longterm and Brown is out only 2-3 weeks. Ballard has got a pretty extensive chance already this season and has done nothing with it and was even losing playing to Brown already. When Brown comes back he will immediately jump back into the starters role.

MCcarthy said today that he will ride the hot hand but Alex Green will get the first shot. So if Green does well it might not end up being that much of a committee anyways. The Colts are not a great running team so they are similiar in that way but Arians knows Mewelde Moore very well and won't hesitate to give him a lot of looks this week.

Looks like right now Green and Ballard are running away with it.

After tomorrow morning most FA waivers have gone through and if you didn't get one you might wanna hope one of these guys blow their opportunity and the next guy steps up.
