Xbox Live 12 month subscription...where to get it cheapest? (1 Viewer)

Xbox home page has that 2 months for $2 deal.

*Yes I know thats not exactly what you're looking for.

It is at $35 or cheaper all the time. Like the poster said, just set an alert on slickdeals and you will get an email when it drops below you criteria. I think I saw it at $25 fairly recently on there.

$35 is front page. Doubt you will see it cheaper than that.

It was only once, but I remember it well. Solely because that is the price I am paying under the family 4 pack for $100, and I remember being pissed that I could have just bought a regular one for that price.

I don't doubt you but I wouldn't wait around for a $25 deal.

Tigerdirect.com has it in the $35 range every couple of months as well. I just picked up one for myself from there

I'm seeing them in the $35 range a lot now. I get the feeling they're being dumped while there's still time.

For the idiot who just got one of these for his kids for Xmas, is the Xbox Live Gold whatever (the $60 12 month one) a shareable account for the whole house? or will I need to get one for each of us? If so that is F'ing expensive!!

Thanks!

Just need it for one account and create gamer tags for everyone under that account.

OK, Thanks...that's what I thought. But the trial that I got with the box is just a single person. I need to get the Gold for the household.

1 account lets you have many gamer tags under it but only 1 person can be on at once. If you have multiple xboxs you can switch back and forth but again, only one can be online. If you want two boxes to be online at the same time you will need another live account.

You should hold off on buying Live Gold for full retail of $60. Check Slickdeals.net daily and you should find it for ~$35-$40 (newegg, amazon, cheapassgamer, etc),

OK so I got one, and in the process of setting up the accounts for my little kidsI now have offline profiles on the xbox and a xbox live profile for each of them. Is there some way to merge them? Or if I d/l the profile will it merge into the existing profile? I don't want to mess with their profiles. (even though they only have been playing on the 360 for 1 week or 2.)

TIA!
